Jun Tendo is a young teenager who is taken to the past to fight in a mystic war during the Heian period in Japan. Legend says that Jun should be able to control Orochi, a powerful eight-headed dragon. Viewed as a savior, he is confused on what he is supposed to do.

A 15-year-old boy travels back in time &mdash;over 1,200 years ago to the Heian period&mdash; and faces a war between oni (demons) and humans in the former Japanese capital of Kyoto.
