One of HOMRA's raid captains who goes around riding a skateboard and acts as the group's vanguard. He's impulsive, but he also cares about his comrades very much. Yata is a brash teenager with high self-esteem. He is very brutal, showing no hesitation when bludgeoning his opponents, as well as vulgar and easily irritable, cursing openly towards people when things don't go as well as he'd planned. Nonetheless, he shows respect towards his fellow Homura members, especially Mikoto; so he gets very shy around girls. He hates being called by his first name. He joined to HOMRA with Saruhiko when they were teenagers.

Yashiro Isana has lived a relatively ordinary, simple life. He lives in the technologically advanced Shizume City and attends Ashinaka High School, a notable high school that is located on an island just outside the areas. Yashiro is friendly with everyone. Nothing seems wrong about him, except perhaps his habit of forgetting where his school-issued PDA is. 

However, nothing normal has been happening since the recent murder of Tatara Totsuka, prominent member of the infamous HOMRA. No one knows who exactly killed him but the man responsible bears an uncanny, identical appearance to Yashiro. Seeking vengeance, the Red Clansmen of HOMRA set out to get Yashiro and kill him. Everyone suspects that Yashiro is the murderer.

A year has gone by since the Blue Clan SCEPTER 4 has disbanded and the Red Clan HOMRA took over as the unofficial go-to people for dealing with the underground community. Lately, the stress of having to constantly keep his destructive power under control is causing the Red King Mikoto Suoh to become unstable.
 
Meanwhile, Reisi Munakata is chosen by the Dresden Slate to become the new Blue King. Believing this to be his true calling, Munakata uses his newfound power and skill as king to rebuild SCEPTER 4. Munakata then turns his attention to HOMRA and Mikoto Suoh, whom he believes pose a risk to the safety of the world.

Tatara Totsuka, the only clansman capable of keeping the destructive power of the Red King, Mikoto Souh, in check wants to do something special and film a video for Anna's birthday. 
 
Meanwhile, the new Colorless King sets his plan to devour the other kings in motion...

Misaki Yata is an energetic youth whose reckless and immature attitude has led him to be shunned by his classmates. Saruhiko Fushimi is a loner whose dysfunctional family, particularity his eccentric father, Niki, has led him to view the world in a pessimistic way.
 
Despite being polar opposites, Yata’s enthusiasm eventually wins Fushimi’s trust, and the two become the best of friends.
 
As time passes on, the two boys grow tired of being trapped inside their small world, leading them to set foot in the turbulent and dangerous world of the Dresden Slate…

In Shizume city there's a legend about a red king with demon-like abilities that single-handendly created the Homra organization, as long as you get accepted into Homra, you can gain extraordinary powers.


Adolf K. Weismann is sharing a peaceful meal with his loved ones, while Misaki Yata is having a blast hanging out with his HOMRA buddies. Elsewhere, Seri Awashima is working diligently to carry out her duties as SCEPTER 4, and Sukuna Gojo runs across the battlefield to fulfill the dream of JUNGLE. But as the days go by, something starts to feel off about the events that are going on in this world and the people bound to it.

The series is based on a novel by the same name by K creators GoRA and GoHands, and tells the story of how Misaki Yata and Saruhiko Fushimi met and parted ways. Yoru Okita will draw the series.


Focused on Yata's and Fushimi's past. There are three parts: "Meeting," "Getting Along," and "Betraying."


Novel adaptation of K, tells the story of how the current red clan was created, the background story of Kushina Anna, and details of Kamamoto Rikio, Yata Misaki and Fushimi Saruhiko joining the red clan and their time together as a clan.
