Setsuna is a Shinmeiryu swordswoman from Kyoto who was taken in by Eishun Konoe, Konoka's father and the leader of the Kyoto Mage Association. She is childhood friends with Konoka and her protector.  Setsuna spends the beginning of the series being relatively cold to Konoka, wishing to protect her from the shadows due to not forgiving herself for being unable to save Konoka when she almost drowned when they were kids. She does eventually open up to Konoka after the Kyoto arc and begins calling her "Oujo-sama" and "Kono-chan".  Setsuna's pactio, Sica Shishikushiro is a wakizashi which she can summon and multiply at will to strike targets like missiles. Due to her training she's also skilled in anti-demon arts and is the one who taught Negi how to create shikigami from paper.  Setsuna is a hanyou like Koutaro, in particular a crow. She was expelled from her people because white wings are considered a bad omen, and it was implied by Evangeline that she is an albino using hair dye and contact lenses to appear human.  A running gag within the series is that Setsuna and Konoka appear to have romantic feelings for one another, yet Setsuna will deny it whenever she and Konoka are stumbled upon in romantic situations or asked about her preference.

In the original manga, Briareos was a cyborg before Deunan arrived at Olympus, and she managed to lose an eye in Volume 4, due to a training accident. Megu is a sickly girl (she has congenital heart disease in the anime, but the disease is not specified in the manga) who is Suigintou's medium. She lives in a hospital room, under constant care from nurses. Megu has a very bleak outlook on life and often prays for an "Angel of Death" to take her away. She sees herself as a burden upon her parents, who she claims are "guilty" of having her. She initially believes that Suigintou is the "Angel of Death" she has hoped for and requests that Suigintou kill her by draining away her energy. Despite her apathy (and, at times, contempt) towards life in general, she is quite needy, and increasingly desires Suigintou's company, even throwing tantrums when Suigintou is away. Megu's blatant disrespect towards her father is shocking to Suigintou, who would never consider such an attitude toward her own "Father." Sayaka's design is prominently blue, which makes her appear heroic and 'just', further reinforced by her wearing a white cape, symbolic for goodness and purity. Aside from her color scheme conveying her being a hero who fights for justice, it also foreshadows ~!her eventual melancholic downfall.!~ Sayaka also noticeably differs from the rest of the cast with her short hair. Again amplified with traditionally male aspects of her design, Sayaka is a tomboy. Masumi Sera is a self-proclaimed high school detective and practitioner of the martial art Jeet Kune Do. After making a mostly correct deduction during a murder case (it is hinted that she made a mistake on purpose), she transfers to Ran's high school class. She seems to know that Conan is a detective.  Sera can fight at either the same or better level as Ran. She transfers to Ran and Sonoko's class at Teitan High. Since three years ago, she'd been living in America with her parents. Kana (Edolas) is a member of the Edolas Fairy Tail Guild. She is the Edolas counterpart of Kana Alberona. Unlike her Earth Land counterpart who wears a bikini type top, Kana is seen wearing proper and non-revealing attire. She even sits properly with her hands on her laps as opposed to her Earth Land counterpart who sits cross-legged while drinking. She is also polite and declines to drink alcohol with Edolas Macao, as she 'dislikes it'. She also hates to fight, saying that she would rather have tea parties instead. Momiji Ooka is a second-year student from Kyoto Senshin High School and a champion of Hyakunin Isshu karuta. Her family is likely wealthy since she has a butler. Momiji claims Heiji Hattori 'proposed her when they were little' and thus believes that they will be romantically involved in the future.

She was once part of an elite karuta association called Nagoro-kai. She was the greatest student of the group's founder, Nagoro Shikao. However, after the group was disbanded she joined another association called the Satsuki-kai.

Momiji appears to be an extremely competent detective, as she saw through a trick merely based on a sound she heard in a phone call with her butler, Muga Iori, before Conan, Heiji or Bourbon did. Later, Muga says that her deduction was great as usual, implying that she regularly solves cases and also says that Heiji's great deductive skill was to be expected from the person that Momiji chose as her partner

Ren Yamai is one of Komi Shouko's classmates from Class 1-1.
