She makes her appearance in both the first and second OVAs; she is shown to be battling fiercely against Gass while Munto is at Earth in the first OVA, but in the second one she seems to have developed respect for Gass and battles with him instead. Shiina is a "self-proclaimed female ninja" who fights with traditional Japanese weapons such as dual-wielding kodachi and shuriken.  Shiina also wears the special uniform of the SSS, along with a long black scarf covering the bottom part of her face and her neck. Her skirt is slightly different from the usual, as it has two short slits which is probably to aid her in movement.  She usually puts up a tough and quiet front, but she is extremely fond of cute things, especially stuffed animals.   She is able to sense when danger is coming. She is very strict in her training and would continue with her training even when she is needed to do something else. Shiina's training mostly consist of balancing objects such as broomsticks, scissors and mops on her fingertip, sometimes balancing one on each of her fingers simultaneously while doing something else. Hazama is a quiet girl who loves reading, preferring to sit in the shade with a book rather than swim during summer gym classes and wants to become a librarian. She even recommended to Itona the novel, The Count of Monte Cristo, though accidentally spoiled the ending. She prefers dark stories and horror novels, and because of this also has an interest in the occult which she displayed when she attempted to use a curse on Korosensei.

A native of the Lulu tribe, a minority ethnic group that lives in the forest area "Sealence Forest" that stretches across the border between the [Rudolvon](https://anilist.co/character/220635) Outland Count and [Berman](https://anilist.co/character/220629) Viscount territories. Many of the Lulu tribe are unfamiliar with the official language of the continent, and she is no exception, with a stuttering way of speaking. She is a master archer and has high physical ability. She is attached to her master, Tiona, and has a bond with her like her sister.

In the previous timeline, there was a deep connection with [Mia](https://anilist.co/character/172654), and Liora hated Mia to the point of wanting to kill her.

In the timeline of the main story, when Mia accidentally helped Tiona when she entered Saint-Noel Academy, a point of contact was created, and the fate of the incident was prevented by Mia's quick wit, so she has a good feeling for her.
