The stern pilot of the Shenlong Gundam is the proud offspring of a legendary warrior clan, who were exiled from China to a decrepit space colony by a fearful government. Wufei adheres to a strict code of honor and justice, seeking to protect the weak and punish the guilty. But his pride is something of a weak point - when pushed too far, Wufei's huge ego has a tendency to break.  Unlike the other Gundam pilots, even the relatively antisocial Heero and Trowa, Wufei prefers to operate alone and frequently seems to have a better idea what's going on than his blundering fellows. When Kathy arrives back at the base, Wufei uses the files to awaken Heero Yuy from cold sleep. He and Father Maxwell with his son Duo greet Heero once awoken and give him his mission.  !~

Seishun Gakuen 3rd Year Class 6 (Same as Fuji). Despite being a senior, perhaps Kikumaru is the most childish player in Seigaku. He likes to move around and hug everyone. Kikumaru is the other half of the Golden Pair, and because of their personality difference, Kikumaru and Oishi were able to balance their relationship as friends and teammates.

Envy is a homunculus who has the ability to shapeshift. They use this power to assume the form of any person and even copy their voice. They usually serve as a spy, but their abilities are also extremely useful for assassinations. Envy may not be as smart as some of the other homunculi, but they are by no means an idiot. In fact, they can be just as good a puppet master as Lust, but this is overshadowed by their cockiness and bad temper. This temper can easily be set off by insulting their large and delicate ego, causing them to make mistakes.  

__In the 2003 anime series:__ As the oldest Homunculus, Envy claimed that they had forgotten what they originally looked like. Envy also greatly hates all humans and followed Dante mostly for the opportunity of killing as many people as they could. This is what drove Envy in all that they did and unlike other Homunculi, Envy does not care about the Philosopher's Stone, nor about becoming human. ~!Towards the very end of the series it is revealed that Envy was created four hundred years ago by Hohenheim in an attempt to resurrect the son he and Dante had, who later died from mercury poisoning when he was eighteen years old. Envy held a great hatred toward Hohenheim for never being acknowledged as his son and for abandoning them and Dante.!~  

__In the manga and 2009 anime series:__ Envy was the fourth Homunculus created by Father. Though often referred to as a 'he' Envy is apparently genderless and can take almost any form it chooses. Referred to by Lust as the most cruel or sadistic of the Homunculi, Envy shows the most open disdain of humans and relishes in any opportunity to hurt, humiliate, or insult them. They are also quite vain and short tempered and dislikes anyone insulting their appearance. ~!Beneath this cruel exterior, however, Envy is secretly envious of humans' inner strength and the mutually beneficial friendships that they share, since most of the Homunculi show little real concern or emotional support for each other.!~

Red-Haired Shanks is a legendary and powerful pirate in the Grand Line, being the captain of the Red-Haired Pirate Crew. Furthermore, he is [Monkey D. Luffy](https://anilist.co/character/40/Monkey-D-Luffy)'s childhood hero. Overall, he is greatly respected by most of the characters, despite having a 'soft' and friendly nature and never appearing in actual combat ~!until he started a fight with [Whitebeard](https://anilist.co/character/2751/Edward-Newgate).!~ As a whole, he does not make many appearances in the series, although he appears in a majority of the opening or closing themes of the anime.  Shanks always wears a long black cape over his shoulders and until he met Luffy, wore a straw hat that he had worn for many years beforehand. He always wears trousers that are cut below the knee as well as a pair of sandals. The most striking thing about Shanks is the colour of his red hair, of which his nick-name 'Red Haired Shanks' comes from. ~!He also has three scars across his left eye, which were given to him by [Blackbeard](https://anilist.co/character/3331/Marshall-D-Teach) a long time ago.!~ He has a missing left arm, that he had lost when he saved Luffy from a Sea King. Shanks and his crew are almost always seen partying and drinking alcoholic beverages whenever they make an appearance as the Captain's favourite pastimes are attending and hosting parties and banquets. Chiaki is twenty-one years old and a 3rd-year piano student at Momogaoka Music Academy at the start of the series. He is an accomplished pianist and violinist, but is also known to be a perfectionist and highly critical of himself and others. He comes from a distinguished and well-off family, and is a fairly good cook. He seems to think that most &quot;poor&quot; people (such as Sakura Saku) are like the little match girl.     While he dreams of studying abroad and becoming a famous conductor like his mentor, Sebastiano Viella, he must overcome his fear of flying and the sea to do so (he finally did with help of Nodame&#039;s hypnosis).     He is dismayed to discover that the freakish but talented girl, Nodame, lives in the apartment next door to him. However, he develops a sort of empathy with Nodame as he discovers her hidden potential to be a great pianist, and he begins to transcend his perfectionism and begins to enjoy her music and the music of others.     Despite his constant irritation towards Nodame, he eventually develops romantic feelings towards her and he chooses to find a work as a conductor in Paris, where he is going to study.     As Chiaki realizes his life&#039;s ambition to become a conductor, he also finds that he needs Nodame&#039;s support and that he cannot move on without her. He also appears to have fear of being abandoned and surpassed, the former comes from being abandoned by his father as a young boy. Afraid of being abandoned, he often abandons other people instead, especially Nodame. Also he&#039;s constantly afraid of being surpassed by Nodame, trying to go even further from her, which leaves her miserable as she is trying to catch up to him. He also can be considered as insensitive.

[Inuyasha](https://anilist.co/character/1353/Inuyasha)'s older half-brother. Unlike Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru is a full-blooded dog-demon and is contemptuous of InuYasha for being a half-demon and for consorting with humans.

He is a very powerful demon who seems to have no true equal when it comes to raw power; although given the chance in volume twenty-three, he could not defeat [Naraku](https://anilist.co/character/1367/Naraku).

Although fandom refers to him as the Lord of the Western Lands, this title appears at no point in the manga. [Takahashi](https://anilist.co/staff/96891/Takahashi-Rumiko) also stated that Sesshoumaru has no permanent home. Unlike almost every other demon in the world of InuYasha, he has no interest in possessing even one shard of the Shikon Jewel.

Sesshoumaru first appears in search of the sword called Tessaiga, created from their father Inu-no-Taisho's fang, which has the power to kill a hundred yōkai with one swing. However, Inu-no-Taisho left Tessaiga to Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru instead inherited the Tenseiga, a sword which cannot harm the living, but can bring the dead back to life. Inu-no-Taisho did this in the hopes that Sesshoumaru would learn compassion. Considering Tenseiga useless to him, Sesshoumaru battles Inuyasha several times for possession of Tessaiga, and when Tessaiga is broken by a bite from Naraku's incarnation [Goshinki](https://anilist.co/character/1370/Goshinki), Sesshoumaru has Goshinki's fangs forged into the evil blade Tokijin, which only he is powerful enough to control. Initially, Sesshoumaru is ruthless and cruel in his pursuit of Tessaiga and his dealings with his brother.

The friend of Oscar and the grandson of her nanny, André and Oscar learned the arts of fencing and horsemanship together when they were children. As they grew up, Oscar became the Dauphine's guard and the class gap between them widened.   He has been described as a "true working-class hero" by Helen McCarthy.   ~!André is secretly in love with Oscar, but he never tells her until both of them decide to help the insurgents when the French Revolution begins. Oscar initially refuses him and asks him to leave her but he stubbornly remains by her side until later on she admits to loving him back.  Later in the series, André loses sight in his left eye in order to save Oscar who had been captured by the Black Knight; his condition slowly worsens until he is completely blind.  André is a very sensitive and passionate man, suffering for his unrequited love for Oscar but being unable to quench his desire for her and vocally siding with the commoners in their plight.  Sadly André dies from a stray bullet the day after Oscar's declaration of love, able to share only one night of passion with the woman he lived for.!~

Frey is Freyja's older brother. He was brought to Earth to aid Heimdall in the destruction of Loki, but quickly drops that mission to search for Freyja once he realizes she is there, too.

Somewhere along the line, he decides to get Loki's attention by becoming a master jewel thief; the natural enemy of any great detective. Impulsive and quixotic, Frey seems to think of everything in terms of Romantic clicé, dramatic stereotypes, and absurd non sequiturs. His primary agenda is to find Freyja, or at least ensure that Loki isn't corrupting her.

However, in the course of his plans, Frey runs into Mayura, falls in love at first sight, and renames her "Yamato Nadeshiko", a name for the prototypical ideal woman; a sort of Japanese Dulcinea, and in the English anime, his "Classic Japanese Beauty".

Iruka Umino is an instructor at the Ninja Academy, characterized by the distinctive scar across his face that he has had since childhood. The name "Umino Iruka" can be taken as "umi no iruka" ("sea dolphin").   Twelve to thirteen years ago, the [Nine-Tailed Demon Fox](https://anilist.co/character/7407/Kurama) attacked Konoha, killing many people. Iruka's parents were still out fighting the Fox and were killed. Iruka was dragged back for protection by an unknown ninja but wanted to stay where he was. After it was over, everyone in the Ninja Academy made fun of him and made him feel just like [Naruto Uzumaki](https://anilist.co/character/17/Uzumaki-Naruto).

The son of Bora, he accompanies Son Goku for a short time during the Fortuneteller Baba Saga in order to recover all of the Dragon Balls so they can wish his father back to life. Upa is a member of the native tribe who serve as the guardians of Karin Tower. His father is the chief, however, the rest of the tribe is not seen until the end of the manga. He participates in the fight against Uranai Baba's thugs and helps Pu'ar defeat Dracula Man (a kickboxing vampire) with garlic breath. At the end of Dragon Ball Z, now an adult, he is shown giving energy to Goku's Genki Dama. Upa and his father also make a final cameo appearance in Dragon Ball GT on the episode "Piccolo's Decision". It is interesting to note that when Kuririn first meets Upa, he thinks that Upa is a cute girl. He is disgusted when he finds out otherwise and apologizes to Upa.

Sharpner attends Orange Star High School with Gohan. He torments Son Gohan for a bit in school, but later befriends him after witnessing his athletic prowess. Sharpner likes Videl who also attends Orange High School. He is very athletic and likes to work out, yet it seems he does not do any martial arts practice. Early on Sharpner devotes most of his time to finding out who the Great Saiyaman is during the 25th Tenka-ichi Bud�kai. He later discovers that Gohan is the Great Saiyaman and is disappointed that the answer was right under his nose. Like Erasa, his fate is unknown after the Buu saga. Also like Erasa, he was named after school supplies, with Sharpner&#039;s name coming from the word &quot;sharpener&quot;.

Dracula Man is one of Baba's ghostly fighters. He is a vampire Muay Thai kickboxer and performs an annoyingly long Wai khru ram muay dance before his match. He first fights Kuririn and manages to suck his blood. Kuririn breaks free but loses by ring out. Dracula Man then fights Pu'ar and Upa. They don't seem to stand a chance until Upa eats a bunch of garlic &amp; starts breathing on Dracula Man. He fights back by trying to bite Pu'ar. Pu'ar turns into a porcupine seconds before and Dracula Man gets a mouth full of needles. Upa then gets into a stance that resembles a cross. This freaks Dracula Man out so he turns into a bat and tries to escape. Pu'ar quickly turns into a giant hand a slaps Dracula Man out of the ring.  Dracula Man appears to make a brief appearance in the anime of DBZ during the Android Saga as a member of the biker gang that chases the Androids while they're riding around in their van.

General Blue is one of the highest ranking members of the Red Ribbon Army seen in the series. 
He possesses special psychic abilities in the form of telekinesis, which can be used to paralyze his opponents or control inanimate objects. This combined with his physical prowess make him one of Goku’s toughest opponents in the series.

~!He is later defeated by Arale Norimaki when his and Goku’s battle takes them to Penguin Village. Upon returning to the Red Ribbon Army base, he is killed by Tao Pai-Pai.!~

General Blue makes subsequent appearances in the films [_Dragon Ball: Makafushigi Daibouken_](https://anilist.co/anime/892/Dragon-Ball-Makafushigi-Daibouken/) and [_Dragon Ball: Saikyou e no Michi_](https://anilist.co/anime/893/Dragon-Ball-Saikyou-e-no-Michi/), both being loose retellings of the Red Ribbon Army story arc. 

It is also implied that Blue is homosexual, though it is never directly confirmed, only speculated on. 


Crim is a powerful Long Arm, friend of Subaru who founded the Crimson Knights organization with her, but afterwards left it as he found it did not match his personality. Amiable, easygoing and sociable; he prefers to keep the real world and the game seperate. Crim's stated goal when playing is simply to have fun, although he never turns down a chance to help somebody in need.   In real life, he is a business man, and is frequently sent off on business trips to places all around the world. His age is unknown. He and BT have met in real life.   His main hobby is playing The World, and he also likes to read books. Ryo Sakuma is one of his favorite authors and he frequently uses quotes from his books in the game.

Daisuke is the part of the main force behind the Special Services Bureau. Quite often he prefers spending his time defending the streets and avoiding any paper work involved (hence a running joke of him &quot;not turning in his reports.&quot;) Although he never really shows it, Daisuke is quite compassionate and has a strong sense of justice. However, he has deep and painful memories of the vanishing of his mother and his father (a politician) being murdered by an android. The only memoir of his father is a bullet pendant he wears around his neck.

Keisuke Takahashi is the number two driver for the Red Suns. Keisuke drives FD3S and is a skilled driver, second only to his brother. Keisuke is a rather hot-headed young man and does not like losing. Keisuke is also known to drive with his emotions, for example if he realises that he cannot win his driving suffers and if he is in the lead he is carefree and much relaxed. Before Ryousuke got Keisuke involved in street racing he was the leader of a Bosozoku gang. He joins his brother's new team and has a rivalry with Takumi. Keisuke races the Hillclimb (Uphill) on most races, while Takumi races the downhill. Keisuke isn't analytical like his older brother, and Ryousuke's ability to compute and analyze amazes Keisuke. But at the same time, Keisuke's ability to think less while he is driving, and to do only what he feels amazes Ryosuke. While Ryousuke has decided that he won't race much longer, and that he will become a doctor in the future, Keisuke has dedicated his life to racing, his eventual goal is to become a professional racer. But first he must defeat Takumi. Though visibly getting along, they still have some kind of argumentation over who is the ace, he has respect for Takumi. He stated once he was not as strong minded as Takumi, because Takumi fell asleep really fast before a great battle, making him ask himself if he knew what was pressure.

Wang Liu Mei&#039;s steward and bodyguard, who accompanies her faithfully. An extremely competent martial artist, he is also one of Celestial Being&#039;s agents and assisted Setsuna and Lockon during their mission in Azadistan. Virgil is a Methuselah who manages the Ghetto and the production of lost technology in Londinium. Virgil is also the Count of Manchester and a privileged member of the House of Manchester. Jeice is an extremely flamboyant and showy (often portrayed as the rookie of the Ginyu Special Corps) white-haired alien who appears human apart from his red skin. According to Krillin, he and Burter are about equal in strength to Recoome. Nicknamed the &quot;Red Magma&quot;, he often pairs with Burter for combination attacks.      ~!As his team-mates fall to Goku, Jeice retreats to Ginyu&#039;s side for reinforcements. Jeice is still clearly outclassed, however, and is singled-out and killed by Vegeta.     In anime fillers, he fought Tenshinhan among with Burter when they attempted to conquer North Kaio&#039;s Planet.!~
