Minako is the fourth member of the Sailor Team to be discovered by Sailor Moon, and serves as the leader of the Guardian Senshi who protect her. She uses love-related powers. In the manga and anime series she dreams of becoming a famous idol, whereas in the live-action series her character is refactored to already be a celebrity. Silly or serious, Minako consistently displays great confidence, enthusiasm, and leadership skill. She is the "owner" of Artemis, the white guardian cat who introduced her to her life as a Senshi. He lives in her home (as Luna lives in Usagi's) and is one of her closest friends.

Momiji is the primary protagonist of the series. She is the descendant of the &quot;Kushinada&quot; who actually lives in Izumo where Princess Kushinada lived. An eighth-grade student in middle school, she was unprepared to understand her destiny to battle the Aragami. She becomes a member of the T.A.C. in order to stop the Aragami from destroying humanity and the world. An ironic twist of fate has Momiji carrying a mitama - an Aragami &quot;soul&quot; - embedded in her chest. A high-school student of dubious academic skill, Yui has shown skill and growth over the series as she assumes the secret on-line identity of &quot;Corrector Yui&quot;. While utterly incompetent when physically interfacing with computers, Yui in the virtual world is a tremendously powerful fighter, able to quickly undo damage and easily battle the strongest of Grosser's henchmen.    

Her optimistic view and her ability to cheer up others even at the worst moment (though sometimes she can be quite perky) was one of her greatest strengths, making her easily likeable by her peers and fellow Corrector programs. She also has an empathetic personality that helps her understand the nature of A.I. programs she meets on the net. She also has a good singing voice. She has aspirations to become a manga author and/or anime dubber.

 Maam is the daughter of Leyla and Loca, the priestess and warrior who helped Avan in the original fight against Hadlar. Maam trained under Avan and is proficient with healing spells (Hoimi), but never could successfully learn any offensive ones. After studying under Avan, the latter gave her a magical gun that shoots magic spells, which helped her compensate for her lack of expertise with any of the other schools of magic (which Pop is an expert in.) When the gun gets destroyed she decides to change to another class, fighter, and temporarily leaves the party to train under Brokeena, known as the God of Martial Arts. Under Brokeena, Maam learns one of her ultimate techniques: the refractor fist, an attack that mimics excess use of Mahoimi, which results in the degradation of the opponent&#039;s body. Later on in the series, Maam acquires a transforming armor weapon from Lon berk, which allows her to increase the destructive power of her techniques.

The protagonist of the series, busty, light red haired and green-eyed and not terribly bright, but immeasurably powerful. Hakufu cares little for the politics of the series, only caring about fighting for the sake of fighting, but is staunchly against unnecessary violence and killing. Lately, however, with trouble brewing all around her she is beginning to take up the mantle of a leader to protect her friends and family. Hakufu possesses a unique gift for predicting enemy moves very accurately by reading the flow of chi (which proved useless against Ukitsu) around her opponents which occasionally makes her seem brighter than she is. She also inherited Master Chouchou's knowledge of chi magic, and, while currently unaware of this, is able to use it partially by instinct. Choushou passed it to her spiritually while Hakufu was unconscious, this is how she healed Koukin after she stabbed him and extracted the evil chi from his body. Hakufu harbors a powerful dragon as one of the Three Great Rulers. 

Sayaka is the second protagonist of Yaiba and Yaiba&#039;s unlikely love interest. She originally had not intended to join Yaiba&#039;s journey, and simply found herself tied to Kagetora with Yaiba going towards the Thunder God&#039;s sword when she woke up. Later it is revealed that she is the Dragon Maiden incarnate, the key to Kaguya&#039;s true form.

Kid is a slim child mamodo who wears a blue jumpsuit with a K on it. He is partly puppet, which is shown in his various spells which involve weapons and changing the size of his body part. Personality-wise, he is childish and cocky, but also very naive, shown very often when Kid explains something with a lie wich Dr. Riddles had previously made up, and is utterly shocked when Dr. Riddles revealed that it had been a lie.

Li-en is a young kung-fu expert and the daughter of a Chinese crime boss named Li Pakron. Her partner is Wonrei.

Bugsy (Tsukushi in original Japanese language versions) is in charge of the Hive Badge, and resides in Azalea Town. He is an expert on Bug-type Pok&eacute;mon. His name derives from the word bug.    In the anime  In the anime, Bugsy is a fairly nondescript gym leader whose gym is a large greenhouse dome with a forest-like interior. His motto is &quot;Whoever learns the rules of the Bug Pok&eacute;mon learns to rule the Bug Pok&eacute;mon&quot;, and his signature Pok&eacute;mon is Scyther, which he has specifically trained to counter fire Pok&eacute;mon. His other Pok&eacute;mon are a Spinarak that specializes in String Shot, and a particularly hard and hard-hitting Metapod. When Ash challenges Bugsy&#039;s Pok&eacute;mon Gym, Ash&#039;s relatively inexperienced Cyndaquil fails to defeat Spinarak. Ash&#039;s Chikorita succeeds, but in turn is defeated by Bugsy&#039;s Metapod. Pikachu finishes off Metapod, and in the end, Cyndaquil comes back to defeat Scyther, winning Ash the Hive Badge.    In the manga  In Pok&eacute;mon Adventures, Bugsy is an androgynous-looking archaeologist investigating the Ruins of Alph and the Symbol Pok&eacute;mon. His signature Pok&eacute;mon is a Heracross, supplemented with a Metapod. He later acquires a Kakuna and Scyther. He also has a special method of catching Pok&eacute;mon, one which was invented by him and Kurt, the Pok&eacute; Ball master. Bugsy has an external capture net attached to his Pok&eacute; Ball, so when he traps the Pok&eacute;mon inside the capture net it is automatically sucked into the Pok&eacute; Ball. If the Pok&eacute;mon manages to escape from the Pok&eacute; Ball, it will still be trapped inside the external capture net and thus will still be unable to break free completely. However, when Bugsy faces Suicune his efforts to fight the legendary Pok&eacute;mon head-on fail as his Heracross&#039;s strength falls to the much-stronger Suicune. Eventually Bugsy tries to use the capture net method to capture Suicune, but Suicune manages to break Bugsy&#039;s net for the first time, and escapes. Later, he is defeated by Sabrina in the Gym Leaders&#039; Challenge.

Asuna is the Gym Leader of Huen Town's hot springs Gym, known officially as the Huen Gym. She specializes in Fire-type Pokémon and gives out the Heat Badge to Trainers who defeat her.

Asuna is enthusiastic about her new role as Gym Leader, but she was still getting used to the responsibilities and was overwhelmed. While Asuna already has the hallmarks of a Gym Leader, including her confidence and dedication, her grandfather Mura returned to the Gym to help support her training.

She attempts to keep herself calm in the heat of battle, but her stressed temperament is still a weakness. Asuna's battle strategy is still experimental, but she showed off impressive defensive strategies that helped her Pokémon inflict a lot of damage on Satoshi's. Asuna also uses Sandstorm and Smog to distract her opponent's Pokémon before hitting them with a Fire-type attack. She resorts to using status conditions in order to overcome strong opponents who have the type advantage, like Satoshi's Heigani.

The third of Japoness' otome kairo marionettes. She represents the aggressive side of femininity, being quite loud, boisterous, headstrong, impulsive and very amorous. She is by far the bustiest, and is openly proud of this fact, often teasing Cherry in particular. She is also the most sexual of the three, often vowing to "make a man" out of Otaru, smothering him with her large breasts and endless amounts of physical affection and pressuring him to marry her. For his part Otaru is much more receptive to Bloodberry's overt advances than the average harem protagonist, often going as far as to compliment her massive bust, to her delight. She is very brave &amp; fierce in battle and has the most raw physical power. She dresses in a black and orange bodysuit and her red hair in a high ponytail.

She is the reincarnation of the goddess Athena, one of the main characters of the series Saint Seiya from Masami Kurumada. Athena is the goddess of love, strategy, and hope. According to mythology, she's the goddess who inherits the control over the Earth from Zeus (her real father).

Athena is said to be by birthright the goddess of battle, but she didn't believe in conquest and only fought defensive wars. She hates weapons, and thus only allows her Saints to battle using their bodies and armors. The only Saint allowed by her to wield weapons is the Libra Gold Saint, and it is only with her permission that the Saints are allowed to brandish the weapons kept by the Libra Saint.  She has opposed the ambitions of antagonist deities since the ages of myth in Greece, earning herself the rejection of the other Olympian gods. The captain of the academy's fencing team, Juri is one of Ohtori's most highly respected students, and even the teachers appear to be in awe of her.

~!However, behind her aloof, intimidating manner, she is actually very vulnerable, as she has been hurt in the past by her friend Shiori, with whom Juri was secretly in love. While viewers are at first led to believe that Shiori stole Juri's boyfriend from her, it is later revealed that it was in fact Shiori who Juri cared about all along.

Juri adamantly insists that she doesn't believe in miracles, and wants the power of the Rose Bride to disprove the power of miracles. However, she desperately wishes for a miracle in order to resolve her situation with Shiori. Her hardened, bitter attitude often puts her in conflict with Utena because her naivete and optimism remind her of the person she once was. She wears a locket with Shiori's picture inside, and in the Black Rose arc, Shiori learns of Juri's feelings after Mikage shows her the contents of the locket. In the third arc, Utena breaks Juri's locket during her final duel, prompting her to throw the match.

Juri is depicted in both versions as having learned all she knows about swordsmanship from an older student, Ruka Tsuchiya. In the manga, Touga reveals that Juri only became interested in him after Ruka disappeared. In the anime, Juri's true feelings are much more ambiguous, as she denies having any romantic interest in Ruka. In both versions, Ruka returns to the Duels despite serious illness in order to give Juri the power of miracles and save her from her burdens. Though they are unable to beat Utena, Juri is finally freed from her problems with Shiori by the end of her final duel. Juri and Utena's relationship then becomes more peaceful, with Juri jokingly asking for Utena's picture so she could put it in her new locket.  In the final episode of Utena, Juri tells a story about her elder sister, who nearly drowned. In her story, a boy dies trying to save her older sister; this was played upon in the movie (see below). Her final appearance shows her training her fencing club members, including the newly inducted Shiori.

In the manga, Juri is student council treasurer. Her nickname is 'The Beautiful Leopard' and she is the captain of the fencing club. In the manga, there is no Shiori; Juri is in love with Touga instead. Touga, however, is in love with Utena, and so Juri sees Utena as her arch-rival. Juri takes a far more actively antagonistic role against Utena in the manga, almost more similar to Nanami's role in the anime.

In Adolescence of Utena, Juri is the president of the Student Council (the Council's members are apparently Miki, Juri and Saionji). According to Wakaba, her nickname is "The Prince." She allows Shiori to manipulate her, but feels trapped by Shiori as well. In the scene wherein a young Touga jumps into the river to save the drowning girl, leaving Utena behind on the land, we never see the girl's face or are told who she is. In the interview with Ikuhara in the extras included with the English release of the movie, Ikuhara reveals that the girl in the boat is, in fact, Juri herself (this is possibly why Juri plays "Prince" to Shiori, because she feels guilty for Touga's death). This is likely a play on Juri's story in the last episode of the TV series ("Someday, Together, We'll Shine" or "Someday, Shine With Me" as the closer translation of the original title), wherein it was her older sister who nearly drowned. Juri's older sister never appears in the anime, movie or manga.!~

Satsuki is Mei's older sister. As they wait, Mei eventually falls asleep on Satsuki's back and Totoro appears beside them, allowing Satsuki to see him for the first time. He only has a leaf on his head for protection against the rain, so Satsuki offers him the umbrella she had taken along for her father. In return he gives her a bundle of nuts and seeds.

Both beautiful &amp; confident, Azumi competes with Kaede for the affections of Yuuki. She summons the evil Yashichi to eliminate her rival. She often loses her temper with Yashichi &amp; Kaede.

Vivian is an enigmatic Holy Knight once directly serving under Great Holy Knight Hendrickson and used to be an apprentice of Merlin, the Boar's Sin Gluttony. Vivian is regarded as the kingdom of Liones' greatest mage.

Kumi is Ryo Mashiba's sweet-natured, but hard-working and willful younger sister, and as such understands him better than anyone else. She will do almost anything to support her brother and make him happy, including going to his matches even though she doesn't like to see him get hurt. Ippo becomes infatuated with her early on, but didn't have a chance to tell her until more than a year later, when they met in an hospital as patient and nurse some months after the Ippo/Mashiba ring. Mashiro Kuna is the former lieutenant of the 9th Division under Kensei. She is a somewhat ditzy girl who is prone to throwing fits for the smallest of things, such as Orihime befriending Hachi or when Kensei insisted on following his subordinates into battle when they were still in the Gotei 13. Her overall style of dress is reminiscent of the costumes worn by the tokusatsu superheroes of late 1970s Japanese television. She often calls Ichigo Berry-tan, a play on Ichigo&#039;s name. Fitting with her tokusatsu theme, Mashiro&#039;s hollow mask bears a distinct resemblance to an insect&#039;s head. She was able to maintain her hollow mask for fifteen hours on her first attempt to control her hollow, meaning she did not have to undergo the same training as the other Visoreds and Ichigo.
