Hamaguchi is the more excitable and vocal of Suguru&rsquo;s male friends. He also has the tendency to speak before even thinking. Hamaguchi also gets help with his homework from Suguru. And when Mahoro isn&rsquo;t around, Suguru allows Hamaguchi to read from Suguru&rsquo;s &ldquo;secret stash&rdquo;.

Green has a serious, calm, and focused personality in everything he does. Although Red and Green were once bothered by each other because their personalities are so opposite, they ended up resolving their differences.

Green and his Strike were trained by Shijima of Tanba City when he was a child. Thus, Green has some cursory knowledge of martial arts, and his Strike knew Generation II techniques.

The series' main protagonist, Ryuuji is a seventeen-year-old high school student in his second year, class 2-C. Due to biological inheritance, his sanpaku eyes make him look like an intimidating delinquent and causes many misunderstandings. He lives in a fatherless family with just his mother, and due to this, Ryuuji has learned to be self-sufficient. He is good at cooking and keeps everything in his house clean (to the point of obsession), and also excels at sewing. He holds a crush on [Minori Kushieda](https://anilist.co/character/12305), a girl in his class. He has a pet, parakeet named "[Inko-chan](https://anilist.co/character/17059)" ("inko" literally means "parakeet" in Japanese). Ryuuji often helps [Taiga](https://anilist.co/character/12064) with domestic chores which she is unable to perform. At school, he is known as "the only person able to stop the palmtop tiger", referring to Taiga's nickname. Due to the misunderstandings of his look, he tends to look down on himself and lacks self-confidence. Despite this, he is rather calm in most situations. He is responsible, smart and has great grades, even when compared to [Yuusaku Kitamura](https://anilist.co/character/12306), his best friend. He is dense when it comes to girls' feelings, especially about things between him, Taiga, Minori and [Ami](https://anilist.co/character/13725). His feelings and relationship to Taiga begin to change as he spends more time with her throughout the series.

Fisheye takes the form of a slender, effeminate male with long, pale blue hair. In the anime, like Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye, he targets his ideal romantic interests, which are young males. His magical attacks are water-based, but his primary choice of attack is knife-throwing (which, to his frustration, he is not very good at).  

Crossdressing is the basis of many of his disguises, as he is usually able to pass himself off as a woman to attract his targets, who are generally heterosexual males (he portrayed his gender honestly to the one gay target he had). Unlike his cohorts, who are rather superficial about their victims, Fisheye seems to nurse a paradoxical genuine affection for many of his victims (or at least a childish crush) until they give him the inevitable brush-off. This included the kindly Mamoru Chiba, who he seemed to develop feelings for and even kissed.  Fisheye is also the first of the three to wonder if what they are doing is right, and his wavering loyalty lands him in hot water when he is nearly killed by Zirconia. Midway through the series, he and the others are sublimated into Pegasus&#039; world and given the promise of rebirth as real humans.

Fisheye has a very small part in the manga, in which he is sold to Ami Mizuno in fish form. He gives her nightmares about her father abandoning her, luring her into a trap. She powers up and defeats Fisheye with Mercury Aqua Rhapsody, and he is killed soon after by Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon.

A seventh grader who was in same school as [Kirie Goshima](https://anilist.co/character/6540/Kirie-Goshima) who loved to jump out and surprise people. He also had a crush on her.

The only moves he cannot copy are the special skills of truly exceptional players, like the other members of the "Generation of Miracles". He seems to have a slight obsession with Kuroko, believing that they were the two who got along most in middle school (though Kuroko said they didn't) and often blurting out random facts about him (mentioning that Kuroko was an Aquarius, even though [Kasamatsu](https://anilist.co/character/42804/Kasamatsu-Yukio) was talking about [Midorima](https://anilist.co/character/22253/Midorima-Shintarou)).   Also, he's a model in his free time, so girls are always mobbing him.

Alibaba Saluja is the deuteragonist of Magi. Initially, after an incident, he fled his home country of Balbadd, and resided in Qishan where he worked as a cart driver. He dreams of getting rich enough to buy a country. Alibaba was a 17-year-old teenager when [Aladdin](https://anilist.co/character/41949/Aladdin) randomly met him on his journey. Alibaba seems to be greedy at first and only thinks of money and good payment, though he values human life more and will save those in need. After being helped by Aladdin, he decides to team up with him and do dungeon diving. It was Alibaba's dream for a long time, but since almost nobody returned alive, he was too afraid to start a journey by himself. He considers [Sinbad](https://anilist.co/character/42528/Sinbad) his hero because Sinbad was the only person who managed to return alive from the first dungeon.

He is a middle school student and is overweight. He has been bullied for many years and because of that likes to go to places where no one is like the squash game on the local network at school.

Sonic is a villain who, despite his normally calm appearance, loves fighting strong opponents as shown by when he gets a "child-like smile" on his face when he first meets Saitama and has two of his attacks blocked, earlier calling this his "bad habit." He seems to be very quick to act as he attacks Saitama on their first meeting without letting him explain the situation.

He was the shadow leader (urabanchou) of Black Vinegar Middle School, using his psychic powers to rule over the delinquents at his own school, as well as to defeat those from other schools.

Teruki is a talented, quick-thinking, and hardworking esper. In terms of raw power, he is nowhere near Mob's level, but he compensates for this by putting in effort and training diligently. He is able to analyze other espers' techniques and their weaknesses in a short amount of time, and often incorporates said techniques in his own fights. He is constantly training to improve himself, and is remarked by various espers as possessing a keen and powerful set of skills.

Ohma is a rough, yet well-meaning individual. He was initially rather arrogant, which often surfaced whenever he fought. During his fights, he was condescending and often belittled and provoked his opponents. A defining trait of Ohma is his lust for battle; ever eager to fight against those who are strong. Despite this love for fighting, he will not fight those that refuse to fight him. That being said, he was also short-tempered and can be quite violent.
