Kurapika is a member of the Kurta tribe who were massacred by the Phantom Troupe (The Spiders) 4 years prior the Hunter exam. 

The Kurta tribe was an isolated group of people whose eyes would turn scarlet when angered or excited. These scarlet eyes were known to be beautiful, being one of the seven most beautiful things in the world. Because of this, the Kurta tribe was constantly pursued and eventually massacred. The eyes of the tribe members were all taken away during the massacre. Kurapika is so far the only known survivor with a heart bent on revenge. He strives to have his revenge against the Phantom Troupe as well as to recover the eyes of his tribe members.  

Despite having a heart full of hatred, Kurapika is very kind and loyal towards his friends. He is an extremely intelligent person but at the same time reckless.

Son Gokuu is a boy we meet in a forest far from any civilization. He lives in this forest alone as his grandpa passed away, he only has this special orb-like object called a Dragon Ball to remember him by, which he will sometimes talk to as if it is his Grandpa Gohan. _Dragon Ball Z_ takes place 5 years after the defeat of King Piccolo and Gokuu's last world tournament. We come to find out that Son Gokuu was originally named Kakarot, and is born a member of a race of extraterrestrials called the Saiyans. In  _Dragon Ball GT_, which was not based on Toriyama's manga, Gokuu is turned into a child by a wish on the dragon balls by Pilaf. The series revolves around him traveling around space to find the Black Star Dragon Balls with the help of his granddaughter, Pan, and Trunks. The series ends with Gokuu leaving for good with Shenron and returning one hundred years later to witness the match between Gokuu Jr. and Vegeta Jr.  

In  _Dragon Ball Online_ (which takes place 216 years after Dragon Ball Z, and unlike Dragon Ball GT, Toriyama had a lot of creative control over the story), a new villain by the name of Miira appears with the goal to obtain Gokuu's DNA.  In  _Cross Epoch_, the  _Dragon Ball_ and  _One Piece_ crossover one-shot, Gokuu is seen accompanying Luffy to attend a party hosted by Shenron from whom key characters from both series had received an invitation.!~

Sasshi&rsquo;s best friend and classmate, having practically grown up together with him in the Abenobashi Shopping Arcade. A sensible and pragmatic girl who is a foil to Sasshi. Arumi&rsquo;s eccentric father and stubborn grandfather run a French restaurant in the Shopping Arcade known as the Grill Pelican. Izumi Orimoto is a fictional character in the anime series Digimon Frontier. In this series, a group of chosen human children are given the ability to turn into Digimon. Izumi is the female of this group, and is given the "Spirits of Wind" at the beginning of the series.  Izumi is the only female member of the team and was chosen to wield the Spirit of Wind that holds the power of AncientKazemon. She was born in Japan but moved to Italy at a young age (in the Italian dub, Izumi was born in Japan but moved to America). She recently moved back to Japan but had problems making friends due to the culture barrier and because of her attitude. Izumi knows many Italian words and uses Italian exclamations occasionally. J.P. Shibayama has a crush on her and blatantly flirts with her.  Izumi is very kind and while she fights, she does it to protect others and herself. As Ranamon put it, she's usually too nice to kill an enemy. Izumi kills her and as she dies, Ranamon points out how Izumi is too nice to do that, but Izumi decides to make an exception as she's had enough of Ranamon and her bullying. When she sees his Super Saiyan abilities at work, she believes that he may be an angel.

Clare is the series' protagonist. In the beginning of the series she is number 47 of the organization's 78th generation, making her the lowest ranked claymore. She also holds the distinction of becoming the first individual to willingly become a claymore.  Her goal is revenge against the awakened being Priscilla. She acts as a surrogate mother to Tatsuya and has a hard time accepting the Countess's help because she feels like the countess is trying to take her brother away from her.She tried to leave the Countess two times. The first time she was caught and was punished by the Countess by being thrown into the Hotel's underground prison. Android 18 is a fictional character who first appears in the Dragon Ball manga created by Akira Toriyama, followed by Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. Aquarius is a moody and ill-tempered Celestial Spirit who often threatens to kill her owner, [Lucy](https://anilist.co/character/5186). When summoned, Aquarius will either attack the opponent, Lucy, or both of them, depending on her mood. Despite this, Aquarius does care for Lucy's well-being, which will later be elaborated on.
