Takeru Takaishi is a character in the anime and manga series Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02 and Digimon Adventure tri.. He is a DigiDestined, partnered with Patamon, and embodies the trait of Hope. He is the younger brother of Yamato Ishida.

Takeru is a very cheerful and amiable person. He doesn't like when others are fighting or sad, and will do anything in his power to make others happy. He is very protective of his loved ones, especially after Patamon's sacrifice, and takes his duty as a protector of the Digital World very seriously. He is rather optimistic, and always tries to keep a smile on his face.

The main character and narrator. Ishida bullied Nishimiya Shouko in elementary school and when she transferred away, he was ostracized and bullied by his former friends. He started to ignore those around him (imagining them with a large X across their face) and was driven to the point of suicide. He changed his mind after he apologized to Nishimiya and began to spend time with her. He learned sign language specifically so he could apologize to her and is shown to be very talented in it. He feels like he hasn't been punished enough for bullying Nishimiya and often wishes he could kill his younger self. He seems resigned to the fact that he will never be able to have friends again.

Perhaps the most reluctant of the bronze saints, Shun is the official Bronze Saint of the Andromeda constellation. He is a merciful soul by nature, and a firm believer in solving problems without causing bloodshed. This creates a sharp contrast between himself and the rest of the Saints: Whereas they will not hesitate to battle when the situation demands it, Shun only allows himself to fight if it's an absolute necessity, or when his almost endless patience wears off. When any of these things happen, Shun becomes an extremely vicious fighter.

Shun comes off rather badly in the Movies and 'Asgard' arc. In almost every fight scene, he almost always loses, and needs his brother Ikki to rescue him (except against Mizar Zeta Syd, the one time Shun defeated a foe in either the Movies or 'Asgard' story).

However, in the 'Sanctuary', 'Poseidon' and 'Hades' storylines, Shun comes off as a good, if reluctant fighter. In 'Sanctuary', he manages to hold his own against Gemini Saga, and even manages to kill Pisces Aphrodite, both of them Gold Saints. In 'Poseidon', he acquits himself nicely, defeating Io, the Southern Pacific Mariner General of Scylla, and Sorrento, the Southern Atlantic Mariner General of Siren. In 'Hades', he manages to dispatch various opponents. As a result, he comes off looking much better in these arcs than in the Movies or 'Asgard'; though he may be reluctant to fight, he will when he has to, and is just as powerful or skilled as any of the other main Bronze Saints (Shiryu, Hyoga, etc.)

Jun Misugi is easily one of Japan’s best players. Unfortunately, his failing heart condition forces him to play for only a short time almost every game. During Japan's match against Argentina, Japan's coach silently thought to himself that Jun would have been Japan's top player (even better than Tsubasa) if it wasn't for his current heart injury; indeed, Jun scored Japan's final goal in that match. He completely recovered in the World Youth Series though. Jun is strong-willed and dedicated besides being kind and clever. Jun can read the opposing team’s formation and tactics even when he is not playing on the field; not to mention his ability on how to control his opponent’s movements.

Hakufu's cousin and an attractive pretty boy, both Kanu and Ukitsu have both expressed exclusive interest in him. Although only a C-rank his lack of confidence and his short resume of victories (or battles for that matter) keep from becoming A-rank despite already having the power of one. He has a crush on his cousin and is generally shy and well-meaning making life very difficult for him. He was a virgin (presumably) until he was seduced by 3 hot girls from Kyosho after he was kidnapped. Oddly Hakufu doesn't seem to mind being naked around but is aware of and disapproves of sexual harassment showing how much she trusts him.

Yukino and Soichiro&#039;s lazy and girl-crazy friend, very handsome and popular.  Although bright enough to be accepted to the selective Hokuei High School, Hideaki is a terrible student, and spends most of his time surfing or chasing girls.  Hideaki and Soichiro are considered the two most handsome boys in school, and while Soichiro is largely indifferent to the attention, Hideaki makes the most of it.  During their school&#039;s annual culture-fest, Hideaki&#039;s class mounts a &quot;Hideaki Asaba Dinner Show&quot; which is a big hit with all the girls, but gives Yukino and Soichiro the creeps.

Atticus Rhodes, known in Japan as Fubuki Tenjouin (天上院吹雪, Tenjōin Fubuki), is the missing brother of Alexis, who mysteriously disappeared into the old abandoned Obelisk Blue dormitory of Duel Academy.    In the Japanese anime, Atticus writes his signature as Fubuki 10Join.    Although Atticus hasn't made an appearance in the manga, he has been mentioned several times. As an infant, he was saved by Ki Shou and became his 100th child. He only had one senin bone, however, he became the disciple of the eccentric Konronsan senin, Unchuushi. Under his modifications, Raishinshi's skin became black, and he grew the wind and lighting controlling, wing-shaped paopei, Tensouyoku, from his back. With that power, he successfully escaped from Unchuushi's tyrannical experiments, and thought to return to his father, but concerned with his current form, he instead gained fame as thief for the people, during which he fought and lost to Taikoubou. At this chance, he disbanded his group of thieves, and after training in Konronsan, he participated in the Shuu revolution.    Because he was busy having his wings remodeled (increasing power and upgrading to three pairs), he has proportionately less screen time than other characters. However, toward the final battle, his number of appearances increase. In the manga version, by the time of his father's, Ki Shou's, death, they had not met, but in the anime they are reunited. Raishinshi is a comedy relief type character with a hot temper. 

Delta is shown to have a calm and reserved demeanor, much like Shu and Fubuki. However he also seems to be detached when he just walks off when Valt shows him Dante's evolved Glyph Dragon. Delta is a dedicated Blader who takes his training very seriously.

He's also rather dismissive and cold. He tends to not smile much, however, when resonating with his bey he’ll smirk after defeating or witnessing a powerful Bey.

After all he is a strong person who has endured many bad things in his past. He lives with his mother (who works a lot and is never shown in the manga and anime) and his dog named Kedama, but he usually calls him Tama (cat name). His best friends in the past were Hiiragi, Yuuki (his ex-boyfriend) and Shizusumi (they were friends since childhood), his current best friends are Uenoyama (his current boyfriend), Kaji and Haruki, although he still maintains some contact with Hiiragi.
