Furlan Church is a delinquent who roamed the capital's Underground District and one of [Levi's](https://anilist.co/character/45627/Levi) two old companions from his time living in the underground, the other being [Isabel Magnolia](https://anilist.co/character/87929/Isabel-Magnolia). He's a very talented ODM user, having learned to use it and teach his fellow delinquents how to use it. The way he managed to acquire and learn how to use ODM gear is unknown.

Furlan, in contrast to Isabel, is very focused and able to make the distinction between when to have fun and when to be serious. He is usually depicted as level-headed and calm, but he dislikes when things spiral out of control. He has a clear understanding of when he's been bested, and when to give up if he knew that he had lost, though he can also be defiant. Furlan places a great deal of trust in Levi and followed his decisions and leadership without question. After one of many heists pulled with Levi's gang, Furlan was placed in charge of dividing the profits from the job among his comrades. He is shown to be sympathetic towards others, such as when he knew that one of his accomplices, [Yan](https://anilist.co/character/137155/Yan), was suffering from a leg injury and would need extra money to afford medicine, so he gave them a larger cut compared to everyone else.

Though Higa is painted as a dark and cruel nemesis for Seigaku, there is some indication of a deep bond between the team and the great respect that they all share for their captain.

Denji is Chainsaw Man's Human Form. He became Chainsaw Man after his dead body was resurrected by his pet dog, [Pochita](https://anilist.co/character/170266/Pochita).

He is a Public Safety Devil Hunter who works under [Makima](https://anilist.co/character/137080/Makima) as a member of an experimental squad in Special Tokyo Division 4. Denji's personality is both brash and naive as a result of being unable to have a formal education and socialize due to living in severe poverty. He comes off as rude and harsh, yet in an almost childish way. He doesn't know how to be clever or wise but he knows how to lighten the mood. As the Chainsaw Devil, he has the ability to grow chainsaws out of his body. 

Tsukasa Kazuki's an easygoing and reliable friend. He is somewhat air-headed and oblivious, but because of his kind personality, Tsukasa can let his guard down around him. He is puzzled by Tsukasa's cold attitude to girls and often apologizes on his friend's behalf. Before Anzu, Makoto was Tsukasa's only friend at this new school. 

He has older sisters who are boorish and slovenly around his house, which has made him less interested in having a dating life. He admires Junta for his athleticism and handsomeness, fawning over how cool Junta must be. When Saki was uncomfortable after seeing her middle school abuser at a Summer Festival, Makoto was able to read the signs and swoop Saki away by the hand. It is implied that Saki was impressed by this and that she may be developing feelings for him.

Naruse is a person who believes that all people are his fans and the reason he is not approached is because others think he is too good for them too talk to.
