He is stern, unforgiving and cruel on the surface, but once you scratch his surface, you&#039;ll find that there&#039;s much, much more to this serious-looking man than meets the eye.    He is the founding member of the Shinsengumi that wrote the Internal Regulations and developed the fighting style that Shinsengumi came to be known for, the Tennen-Rishin Ryu. In the series, he seems to be the one in control of the entire Shinsengumi, though the decisions of the Shinsengumi are made by a council of three : Kondou (Kyoukuchou), Hijikata (Fukuchou) and Yamanami (Fukuchou).  The mentor of Okita Souji, the tensai swordsman, he was no pushover in swordfighting. In episode one, you&#039;ll get a taste of just how good Hijikata is.    In the later episodes, Hijikata is seen to worry about Okita&#039;s illness as well as about Tetsunosuke. He refuses to let Tetsu hold a sword, apparently for fear that Tetsu will walk down the same bloody path as Okita. He has a deep sense of commitment to the Shinsengumi, and this is the most probable reason why he puts on a stern, unforgiving face. In Episode 7, he reprimanded Kondou for allowing the Shinsengumi to play like a &#039;gang of buddies&#039; and told him to stop doing things to soften the Shinsengumi&#039;s edge. He tolerates no imperfection, but is not unreasonable. As such, he has the respect of all 40 members of the Shinsengumi.

A member of the Press Bureau Staff of Hi-TV. He is a graduate of the Imperial Britannia Central University's Faculty of Law. He seems to be quite interested in Zero, and the way he manipulates the media for his ends. He later joins the Order after getting demoted for allowing Zero to broadcast his message introducing the Order of the Black Knights. In the very first episode it is shown that he also harbors contempt for the royal family of Britannia and the bootlickers that surround them.

Corporal of the Keroro Platoon. Giroro's history in war left him with a scar and weapon belt in memory of his killed friends. Giroro loves Natsumi Hinata and he would attack anyone who harms her. His weapon expertise and power makes him a powerful member of the platoon.  His often aggravated and irritably short tempered self is caused by the lackadaisical and unfocused members of the Platoon, especially Keroro, in their invasion of Pekopon.  Giroro is often used as comic relief throughout the series, as he resides outside of the Hinata house in his tent. Most often he is crushed by something dropped from Natsumi's window, or a falling object from space, usually containing an alien of some sort (or Karara). His afro, which only appears after being caught in a blast or Dasonu*Maso's afro beam, is blond.

Bowman is a pharmacist from Linga, and although not a prominent character, he is still important to the storyline. Bowman is the doctor to Eleanor, the friend of Precis. Eleanor is dying, so Precis goes to fetch a mysterious herb to save her. Bowman also has a friend, Keith, who understands the ancient language in the book the party found in Cross Cave. Bowman helps the party get a meeting with Keith, and saves Eleanor with the herb.

He is an operative in his mid-30's for the National Police Agency's Special Assault Team (SAT). Though he is fully human, he is as homicidal and apathetic to other people as the worst diclonius are. He is a hardy and effective soldier. After being maimed by Lucy and repaired with bionic, cybernetic and prosthetic implants, he escapes on a quest for revenge against her. He gets two or more Desert Eagle hand guns. In the manga he gets other weapons such as a RPG. The guns fire .50 caliber rounds which are so powerful the rounds can not be blocked with vectors. But the bullets can be pushed off course at long range though; however at close range not even Lucy can stop them.  ~!He gets sidetracked several times in this quest, and ultimately receives aid from Kurama to "kill a diclonius that was coming." Bando is driven by the will to fight and to prove his superior ability in combat. At the end of the anime he is crippled again by Lucy while in the manga he is ripped in half, saving Mayu's life when Lucy tries to kill her. Folken Fanel is Van Fanel's older and only brother. Folken abandoned Fanelia after being sent out to retrieve a drag-energist as his right of passage to becoming king. He joined forces with Emperor Dornkirk and the Zaibach Empire in hopes of ending war. He is torn between his roles as commander and brother, a conflict which is show throught the story.  ~!(The Strategos or tactician of Zaibach, Folken is revealed to be Van's older brother and the original heir to Fanelia. After he failed to kill a dragon, he lost an arm to the beast and was later picked up by the Zaibach, who nursed him back to health under Dornkirk's instructions and fitted him with a mechanical arm. He originally joined the empire in hopes of realizing Zaibach's ideals of a world free of war...)!~  For all that Folken seems like a rather heartless, robotic devote of Zaibach's regime, he reveals himself to be a profoundly brilliant and compassionate man. He is an engineer, a sorcerer, a chemist, and a strategist of a caliber paralleled only by Dornkirk himself. He truly does think that what he is doing is for the greater good.

Dead Apostle Ancestor No. 10  A living mass of chaotic matter analogous to a primordial soup, created from the accumulation of the lives of 666 creatures. His name, phonetically spelled "Nero", was given to him by the Church as a play on words in Gematria by which the letters that compose it add up to 666, the so-called Number of the Beast.   Originally an alchemist named Fabro Rowan from the Sea of Estray, a cluster of smaller sorcerer organizations on northern Europe. His attempt to attain immortality led him to develop a method by which to absorb and merge his existence with the lives of other creatures, leading to his transformation into the form of Chaos. He eventually became a sole accumulation of lives with a collective consciousness, aligned with his will yet not entirely under his control and of nature beyond his own understanding. Even as he was conscious that his mind was fading by being united to the beasts, his ultimate desire was to come to understand the chaos that formed him.

Tthe Second Fist of Ragnarok before it was disbanded, and is currently a member of Yami's disciple group Yomi. He is a tall muscular young man with spiky dark blonde hair spiked in the back, a red open jacket and gloves on his hands.  Berserker is often seen chewing bubble gum and hardly ever speaks. He has a calm disposition despite all the damage being done to Ragnarok and almost never loses his head, despite his seemingly ill-named position. Berserker is said to be the most fearsome fighter in all of Ragnarok, and Loki even believes that he could be a better First Fist than Odin (though Loki may have simply said it in order to plant a seed of betrayal in Berserker).   However, Berserker shows no interest in becoming a leader for any gang, and is actually afraid of fighting Odin, believing that the latter is much stronger than he is. Berserker claims to fear boredom more than losing during his match against Hermit. When in his Berserker mode, he's much more sadistic and brutal, going as far as to assault Hermit with everything he has without holding back and laughing maniacally.  Berserker is seen usually in the background not speaking when others are talking. He one day plays poker with Loki and Loki talks about making another Ragnarok but states he's joking and the winner would decide who's the leader and when Loki shows he's got a four pair (which he cheated to get) Berserker leaves knowing he cheated and is not interested. However, Loki checked his hand and is shocked to see that he had a Royal Straight Flush and would have won the game.   He later goes out and starts taking out all the main members such as easily defeating Takeda, Ukita and the lower grunts. He chases after Niijima and when Niijima tricks him into falling into a hole, he jumps out and starts fighting Siegfried. He defeats Siegfried and almost drowns him and leaves so Akisame and Sakaki can fish him out. Berserker is told by Loki to lead his "New Eight Fists" once the latter proclaims his betrayal of Ragnarok during the attack on Shinpaku Alliance. However once he got close enough, he quickly defeated them all, including Loki, and claims that he only came to Loki just to get closer to attack.   He is subsequently challenged by Hermit, who became angry that Berserker took out Loki when he was going to do it. At the beginning of the battle, Berserker's foresight is unable to overcome Hermit's ability to land attacks, forcing him to use odd techniques to counter him. When Hermit gets around those attacks as well, Berserker finally goes into Berserker Mode and overwhelms Hermit.  Ultimately, he is defeated by Hermit, who twists one of his arms and unleashes a multitude of devastating attacks. Berserker is unwilling to admit defeat and attempts to continue on, despite his injuries, but is dissuaded by Kenichi, who tells him that one should not be ashamed of defeat because one learns more from it. Berserker then stops trying to fight, warns Kenichi about Odin, and is finished off by Odin.  Berserker much later would seemingly join Yomi, as a silhouette of him is shown standing amongst three people whom Kensei picked out for disciple testing.  After the death of Silcardo Jenazad, Ogata Isshinsai is seen discussing the events with his disciples while looking highly amused. Kokorone Rimi vividly remembers her past encounter with the Demon God Fist, but Berserker remains in the shadows like before, impassively chewing and blowing bubble gum like he did during the Ragnarok Saga.   He makes his first formal appearance standing behind his former leader, Asamiya Ryuuto, when the Yomi members are summoned to headquarters by Kushinada Mikumo. Someone throws shurikens at him and the other disciples but he catches it with his mouth and blows a bubble around it while wondering what fights the others have been through so far.

Though he may be considered an average Magus at face value, he is highly skilled in the creation of Bounded Fields. He carries a special Bounded Field that is divided into three layers, and absolutely anything that steps within range of the outer field is automatically frozen in place. It is mobile, something out of the ordinary since Bounded Fields are usually impossible to move, and Araya typically uses it as a weapon. Not only that, but the building that serves as his lair has become so much a part of him that it is almost like a Reality Marble, cementing Souren as an extremely powerful Magus.  His origin is stillness, as seen by his obstinate pursuit for the Akasha and the properties of his boundary fields.

The Dragonaut field commander for the ISDA, Sakaki lost his wife and daughter in the same shuttle crash that claimed Jin&#039;s family. It is later revealed that he accidentally resonated with one of the dragons sent by Thanatos.

Punie's "mascot" and constant companion, Paya-Tan is a dog-like animal with a unicorn's horn that is personified as having two distinct personalities and faces. While assisting Punie he acts cute with a high voice and silly talk, but when they first met he acted harshly towards her and responded to her attempts to make him her mascot with violence. He may still wish to betray her, despite helping her on various occasions. When not with Punie, he may reveal his more adult face and deeper voice - and smoke a cigarette. When Van was young (and known as Vandesdelca Musto Fende), and his mother was pregnant with his sister, Tear Grants, he was forced to destroy the island of his birth, Hod, by being attached to a machine that would cause a hyperresonance. Van later found out that this was predicted in the Score, starting his hatred of it. It sparked his plans of overthrowing it. Since the creation of replicas was not predicted in the Score - and thus, they were not bound by it - his goal was to replicate the entire world and everything in it, destroying all the originals.     To do this, he had to get into a position of power - to get followers. So he joined the Order of Lorelei - the organization that ensures that the world follows the score. He even tried to look older once he did get into a higher position so that people would be more likely to look up to him rather than be jealous of his high rank. Once there, he found others, who made up the the Six God Generals, who shared the same hatred of the Score that he had. The first of these is Imperial Slaughter, which is very similar to Asch&#039;s Rending Saber. Van tosses the foe into the air with many streams of light, then thrusts his sword into the ground, causing a fonic glyph and even more light energy to appear and damage nearby targets.
