Renji is one of the most unusual Bleach character, having long crimson hair which is usually kept in high ponytail, and whole upper body tattooed in tribal work. He dresses in normal Shinigami kimono, but he usually wears some kind of headband (it's shown to be rather very expensive glasses or white headband).  In terms of personality, Renji is same as any other Shinigami. His personality varies from cocky and eccentric, to being depressed after he's defeated, all the way to being clueless and funny. Although he's carefree and happy character in most of the series, he can be quite serious, especially when it's the matter of life and death situations for either him or people he hold precious.  He is shown to have rather complicated relationship with his captain, Kuchiki Byakuya. Renji sees Byakuya as the goal he has to surpass. First time, when Renji was still in the Academy, he encountered Byakuya and felt something chilling about him. In the meantime, Renji became Byakuya's lieutenant, and throughout the series, Renji starts to see Byakuya not only as rival, but also as man he can look up to.

A somewhat jaded, down-on-his-luck, chain-smoking newspaper reporter, Okamura is the son of the photographer and Vietnam war correspondent who had taken several mysterious black and white photos depicting a young girl killing soldiers, villagers, and grotesque monsters with a sword. At first considered pests, David eventually taps Okamura&#039;s investigative abilities and requests their aid in looking into Diva&#039;s New York concert. After this, Okamura and Mao become unofficial members of Saya&#039;s group, first researching in Los Angeles, then joining them in New York after their apartment is blown up by Cinq Fl&egrave;ches.    Okamura tends to be relatively cynical, and though he often expresses annoyance at her tempestuous nature, he never seems to get tired of having Mao with him. Despite their regular bickering, they work well together. When he is asked to go with the others to Staten Island, Okamura leaves his favorite camera with Mao, asking her to look after it, though when she asks why he refuses to explain. Exclusive to the anime, General Logi is a general of Gran Kingdom who has known Zola for quite some time. He has been defeated by her before which resulted in him gaining a scar around his left eye. Some time later, General Logi encounters Zola again at a prison fortress. General Logi easily defeated her, Jiro, and Marumaro when he gained an artificial shadow named Valkyrie, and his power left the normally hotheaded Shu shaking in fear. General Logi is given some artificial shadow wielders from Nene to form his Independent Flying Squadron. During that time, he has squared off with Shu and Blue Dragon many times with both times resulting in Valkyrie getting injured. After Nene&#039;s destruction, General Logi announced his secession from Gran Kingdom by having Schneider take over Castle Des la Teste and by having Andropov attack Gran Kingdom fleets. General Logi then establishes Rosekstan (an offshoot of Gran Kingdom that serves as a Shadow Extremist nation). He fights Zola again which ends with Kluke being kidnapped. In the next encounter, his true shadow is revealed and Zola was rescued by Kluke. It is later revealed that General Logi is one of the descendants of one of the Warriors of Light. When Zola goes rogue, he, Delphinium, and Deathroy help to fight her. Two years later, General Logi is still in power and leading the forces of Rosekstan into establishing a new world order. He has his shadow reawakened by Lota when she arrives in Rosekstan&#039;s capital. After a fierce fight, Lota sets General Logi&#039;s castle on fire as General Logi is rescued by Matilda. General Logi hid out in the remains of Nene&#039;s fortress when he planned to stop the plots of the White Brigade. A type of hawk while he was an animal, Washio was shot and killed for sport by hunters, even though his species was supposed to be protected by law. While out gathering butterflies, Chouno came across Washio&#039;s body and taking pity on him, decided to make him a homunculus in order to give him a new life. Unlike Chouno&#039;s other homunculus, Washio has incredible combat prowess due to his natural gifts as a hawk, as seen when he fights off Kazuki and Tokiko in battle at the same time. Also, he is able to transform individual limbs to maximize his combat potential. He&#039;s killed in battle against Kazuiki and Tokiko when Tokiko throws herself at Washio to give Kazuki an opening for his lance. As he crumbles away to nothing, he begs Kazuki to spare his master Chouno and take care of him.
