Zeno Zoldyck is Killua's grandfather and Silva's father. A witty old man, his advancing age has not dampened his quick thinking and speed in battle. Zeno wears alternating signs on his garb that say either "A Kill A Day" or "Never Retire." He appears to be on good terms with the Hunter Committee's Chairman, Netero, who hired Zeno to assault Ming Jol-ik's palace in East Gorteau in order to catch the chimera ant King off guard. Zeno favors Killua more than his other grandchildren, most likely because Killua is the heir of the family.

As the &quot;voice of IGPX&quot; announcer, Benjamin Bright (Tadashi Miyazawa, Tom Kenny) has become world famous for his color commentary on the sport. He slowly develops a grudging appreciation for the untested rookies of Team Satomi. Though only seen in person once (while introducing the teams in season 1), Bright can often be seen giving race commentary and IGPX news on the various public TV screens scattered around the city and on the trademark blimp that hovers above the track.

Dario is the father of Dio Brando. An alcoholic and abusive man, he is primarily responsible for contributing to Dio's descent into evil. After a tragic misunderstanding, George Joestar I decides to give him a favor and adopts his son Dio into the Joestar Family.

Head of the Hōjō clan. Mostly known for his impressive castle, Odawara, and his defensive stance towards the brewing war. Wields a multi-bladed spear. He honors his ancestors wholeheartedly, though he is shown to be scared at his ancestors&#039; wrath, as his Basara involves him being scared to hell when the spirits of the ancestors comes in and he ends up crawling throughout the battlefield, with his ancestors following him and damaging the enemies that comes in contact. Sugoroku Mutou is the grandfather of Yugi Mutou, who gave him his famous Millennium Puzzle as a present, which he had recovered from the tomb of the Pharaoh Atem in his youth. He owns the Kame Game shop, where Yugi and his friends get several of the games they play, and he taught Katsuya Jonouchi how to play the Duel Monsters card game. His fondness for games is even evident in his name: &quot;Sugoroku&quot; is a Japanese game similar to Backgammon.

Position: Coach/Trainer   The coach of the Wild Gunmen, his appearance is like a stereotypical cowboy complete with two pistols he uses to fire with. (showing off similar gunmenship skills to both Kid and Hiruma) His main philosophy revolves around a fast-shooting offense that crushes the opponent. Unfortunately, his management of the team leads to bad luck for his side, particularly in Tetsuma following his advice to the point of hurting his team as opposed to helping it.   Like the cowboy he is, he owns a massive ranch near Houston, Texas which also doubles as Seibu's American training grounds for the Kanto Tournament. His ranch is filled with cattle for rodeos and milk production, including a massive bull won in a teamup between Deimon and Seibu for a beach football tournament. Likewise, he also has a horse ranch filled with many who appear similar to many of the players taking part in the football tournament in Japan.   His name is the Japanese approximation of Doc Holiday. 

Dr. Cain (Dr. ケイン Dr. Kein?) is the scientist and archaeologist who found Mega Man X on April 14th, 21XX. X was in a capsule buried deep underground in the abandoned warehouse of Dr. Light's ruined lab. He based the Reploids on X's design, creating the first on November 22nd. As Cain couldn't fully understand X's design, and the Reploids didn't have a diagnostic like X, the Reploids could have problems and started to become "Mavericks" (Irregulars). The Maverick Hunters were founded to counter the Mavericks. Sigma, Dr. Cain's most advanced creation, became the leader of the Maverick Hunters, and subsequently leader of the Mavericks. Cain Labs also created Dr. Doppler and the Repliforce. Dr. Cain is never mentioned again after Mega Man X4, it can most likely be assumed he died of old age or by other reasons.  In The Day of Σ, an unlockable movie in Maverick Hunter X, Cain has a life support to extend his life, with four tubes connected in his back. He was caught in an explosion of missiles that Sigma launched, although it is not made clear if he was killed in it.
