The new transfer student into Yomiyama North Middle School's third year's third class (in May, 1998). He is 15 years old and the only son in the Sakakibara family. His mother supposedly passed away 15 years ago after giving birth to him. He becomes very interested and curious about Mei Misaki and attempts to pursue a friendship with her, but little does he know of the trouble this is going to cause...   ~!He has pneumothorax (collapsed lung), which is the reason why he is absent from the school for a month at the start of the story. This is also the reason why he doesn't know Misaki was treated as 'one who does not exist' that year.!~

Takashi Kosuda is one of Yamada&#039;s classmates, and is the main subject of her lust throughout the series. Characterized as inept, sheepish and indecisive, he is also kind-hearted and often tries to look out for Yamada when he can. Takashi is initially taken by her advances, but that later turns into confusion and anxiety, due to the mixed signals between them, as well as his insecurities as a virgin. He lives at home with his older sister, who is a college student. One of his hobbies is photography. He is afraid of heights

Mashiro is a 14-year-old boy who doesn't know what to do with his life. One day his classmate Takagi finds out about his amazing drawing skills and asks him to help create a manga. He initially declines but changes his mind when Takagi helps him to ​get engaged with his crush, Azuki Miho.  He and Takagi create manga for Shonen Jump under the pen-name Ashirogi Muto. Mashiro is very talented in drawing although he is very dissatisfied with his style. He specializes in drawing fairly dark characters. His favorite manga is Ashita no Joe.

Tomofusa is the class representative of Saya's class.  He seems to have a crush on her.

A typical highschooler with a charismatic and helpful nature, he lives with his Mother who has seperated from his Father due to marriage problems. Because if this seperation, Akiyuki is expected to take a prepared lunch to his father every morning, as well as keep the two&#039;s relationship running smoothly. He has two close friends, Haru and Furuichi.


A main character in Cardfight!! Vanguard: Shinemon, in which he is in his third year at high school. He initially appears as a minor character in the Cardfight!! Vanguard (V Series Anime) as a history teacher at Hitsue Middle School.

Mark is not originally from Japan, but is infatuated with the country's history and culture. He moved to Japan as a child for unknown reasons, and uses his love of Japan in his profession as a history teacher. His eccentricity and quirkiness is apparent when he teaches, and he uses a Japanese history-based trading card game to teach his lessons.

He is best friends with Shinemon Nitta, and uses his "18 years of history as a ninja" to help his friends. He is apparently a maniac for the Sengoku period of Japan. He has a ninja costume which he uses for cosplay purposes, and even has smoke bombs. While wearing his cosplay outfit, he becomes "Ninja Master", and talks in an old fashioned way, ending his sentences with "Degozaru" ("verily" in the English dub and Japanese sub).

Ren is the national Vanguard champion and the leader of the team Foo Fighter. He is shown to have PSYqualia and he can hear his card talking to him, often causing his opponents to be fearful of him.


First appeared in the anime in episode 6. He is the Elder Sergius's assistant.  The case of the Grey Wolf. He was the one who showed Kazuya and Victorique around the village.    ~!He was also in love with Harminia.!~

A blond guy, who despite his appearance, is poor, classified on "Class A", he presents a different way of Akatsuki Ousawa, where he defends a punch, and the fight begins with a series of kicks, where he errs, and Akatsuki is knocked down he by the leg, he is convinced that he is the best friend of Akatsuki, he works on the staff of a peculiar event, the "catch-up swimsuit on the beach", he is fast, and seems to use the same fighting style of Akastuki,he is known to be clumsy, has the reputation of "the eternal clown of class A", he is cheerful, but has a mysterious side that he thinks everything is fake. The Props Master in Fuyumi Irisu's independent film. He also was one of the three detectives involved in solving the mystery of Hongou's unfinished script.

Shinji Inui is the downhill driver for Sidewinder. Shinji appears to be a boy (possibly younger than Takumi) but seems very intelligent. Shinji has many parallels to Takumi, in that he has next to no interest in racing and that he had been driving years before he had his license. Shinji's car is the notchback coupe variant of the AE86 Trueno (not to be confused with Takumi's Eight-Six), which belonged to his deceased father. Founder of the Kyotouryuu sword style.   ~! He was born in the era of Shikizaki Kiki. Shikizaki Kiki was interested in him. Shikizaki used Kazune to develop the Kyotouryuu sword style, Shikizaki Kiki's 13th complete deviant blade, though because of the nature of the style, it was never perfected. Consequently Kazune developed the style further by passing down each generation, until it reaches Shichika who mastered it.  !~

Zeo is an american blader and a friend of Masamune Kadoya. He spends the most of the anime with Toby, another friend of his and Masamune.  On Metal Fight Beyblade: Baku, Zeo is on team HD, which represents America.   ~!Zeo joins team HD because the director of the team promissed Zeo that Toby would get the best treatments if Zeo would join their team.  According to Masamune, it's impressive to know that not only Zeo is improving on Beyblade, but even more impressinve is to know that he is on the best American team because Zeo was a weak blader.  Later, Zeo tells he had to improve so he could make Toby get better. Besides, he became stronger also because of the Arrange System.!~   ~! On Metal Fight Beyblade 4D, he plays with Toby and Masamune on team Dungeon.!~

Yui's 19 year-old brother, Yuu is a ladies' man, something Yui dislikes. After finding Rito and Yui being chased by hoodlums, he defends the two from the ruffians, while commenting that he hopes Yui will grow to be more mature.

Unicorn Yato is the name of the Unicorn Saint living in the 18th Century. He was partner of Pegasus Tenma in the Sanctuary and he did not get on well with him. During the first mission in the manga he was defeated supposedly by Alone-Hades or one of his minions and he was thought to be dead by the other Saints.    Yet, he somehow survived and stumbled upon a dying Tenma. During his attempt to carry him away, a Lemurian girl called Yuzuriha appeared before them. Yato attacked her, mistaking her as an enemy. But after a conversation, he finds out that she is on the same side. Yuzurihaa then took both of them to Jamir, in Tibet, via teleportation. There, the Lemurian Master Hakurei repaired Yato&#039;s Cloth with the blood of Yuzuriha. After its repair, his Cloth looked like the one Pegasus Seiya used in the Poseidon Saga.    Yato claims that although he is not as strong or important as his partners, he considers fighting alongside them an honour. His only shown attack is the Unicorn Gallop (ユニコーンギャロップ ,Yunikōn Gyaroppu?) during which he performs a powerful kick. Yato seems to have a crush on Sasha as he always gets angry when Tenma mentions her, but the actual feelings he has have not yet been revealed in the story. He also sometimes risks his life to help Tenma; at the beginning of the series, just to prevent Sasha from being sad, but as the series progresses, he does it as Tenma&#039;s friend.

Koji is the Ashikabi of Namiji (Sekirei No.73).
