In fact, to date, the only time he is seen to have blushed is when he tries to make use of [Sadaharu](https://anilist.co/character/2651) and Ketsuno's dog to get a chance to talk to her. Though several female characters have shown an interest in Gintoki, he usually does not show any response back and merely puts up with them as annoyances.

Gin has two major obsessions in life. He is obsessed with sweet foods such as parfait, ice cream, and cake. His second obsession is reading the manga anthology magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump. (Which, not coincidentally, is where Gintama is published in). His favorite type of milk is strawberry milk. Gin will go to great lengths to get the latest Jump issue, to the point of reckless behavior. His Jump obsession makes him easily dream of being like other Jump heroes, including wishing that he had a "Bankai" similar to the hero characters of Bleach.

Despite his appearance and initial behavior, Gintoki has a great amount of pride for the old Bushido code. He takes it upon himself to rescue or avenge not only his comrades and friends but also people he barely got acquainted too, be it a pit-fighter who was taking care of abandoned orphans or an Amanto who resembles a kappa.

Despite being a fearsome fighter with nearly unmatched skills, he avoids needless bloodshed after suffering the loss of most of his friends and allies during the Joi war.

However Shoyou gets captured by the Tenshouin Naraku for abandoning them when he was still known as Utsuro and much later down the line in the Joui War Gintoki is captured along with Katsura and Takasugi, He has a choice to kill his teacher or his two friends. If he kills his teacher, they will be released; if he kills his friends, his teacher will be released; if he does nothing, everyone dies. Faced with an impossible decision, and not wanting to lose anyone he makes the impossible decision and takes Yoshida Shoyou's head.!~

Belldandy is unflinchingly kind, patient, and warm, not only to Keiichi but to everyone, without exception. However, this does not mean that she is to be taken lightly; Belldandy is licensed as a goddess first-class, unlimited, and as such is highly skilled. Her power is so great, in fact, that she is required to wear a special earring on her left ear which constantly seals the full brunt of her magical strength. The only time at which she has ever revealed her true strength is during the Lord of Terror arc. At the end of this arc, Belldandy completely reconstructed their home from rubble, mentioning that doing so only took one ten-millionth of her power.

Belldandy's capacities and talents are diverse, whether magical or worldly. Not only can she change the appearance of her clothing and levitate (and, by extension, fly) as all full-fledged goddesses are expected to, but she can also teleport through mirrors, speak to and understand animals, "see" people's emotions as auras, heal minor wounds by speeding metabolism, and "speak" to machines. Furthermore, she is a superb cook, and her singing skills are held to be the best in the heavens. She is also incapable of getting drunk on alcoholic drinks, but instead gets drunk with soda (it has to be noted, however, that she's a complete lightweight in this regard. One sip is enough to send her in a drunken rampage—although given her personality, "rampage" takes an entirely different, but no less destructive, meaning). In addition, she is also the top broom racer in heaven, the only one that could rival her is Welsper from hell or Hild the Daimakaichou herself.

Belldandy's angel is Holy Bell (Bless餠Bell in some versions of the English manga); her elemental attribute is wind. Like all angels, Holy Bell augments Belldandy's magical powers when called upon, and like all angels, she also reflects her master's current state. For example, when Belldandy falls unconscious after being infected with a virus (in the movie), Holy Bell emerges comatose and covered with crystals that represent the virus.

Belldandy does not appear to play a significant role in maintaining Yggdrasil. Rather, she works at the Goddess Relief Agency which deals with granting wishes (forming contracts) with humans, similar to Peorth's work at the Earth Assistance Agency.

Sei is the busty leader of the group and was the one who hired Jo and Meg to become members of it alongside Kyohei. She wears a long blue jacket, and has her black hair in a bun, but appears older than her stated age. Her grandfather runs Bai Lan and comes from a very powerful Chinese family. Born and raised as a traditional Chinese girl and trained in various ways of her clan/syndicate. After her grandfather stepped down as leader of the clan, their current clan members made a partnership with RAPT to preserve their clan. However such actions not only disgusted Sei, but she was forced to do many things for RAPT in Bai-Lan's name. She eventually rebelled against her own organization under the advice of her own grandfather. She was advised to walk her own path and so she chose to oppose RAPT and towards the end she was shot multiple times by a cyberoid. It is unknown if Sei survived the explosion or not. Anzu is the childhood friend of Yugi Mutou. She becomes a good friend to Katsuya Jonouchi and Hiroto Honda, though she is not fond of them at first. 

In the first series anime, Miho Nosaka is also one of Anzu's friends. Anzu does not usually play games with Yugi and his friends, though she is once shown beating Jonouchi. In the manga, especially in the beginning, Anzu has a spunky, tomboyish personality, and in the first chapter, frightens Honda and Jonouchi into leaving the room after they bully Yugi. Anzu possesses a very kind-hearted, strong-willed, and supportive personality. In the Duel Monsters anime, she and Honda, are basically cheerleaders for Yugi and Jonouchi whenever they duel, but she has proven herself adept at dueling as well, and usually keeps up with the going-ons of a duel. She is more feminine, polite, and has a stronger sense of faith and friendship for her group of friends, often serving as the mother/sister figure for the boys. She is known among fans of the Duel Monsters English anime for her "friendship speeches".  

Anzu is athletic and holds jobs to save money in order to attend a dance school in New York City. In the beginning of the series, she is revealed to be working at "Burger World". By Volume 4 in the manga, Anzu is fired from that job for punching a customer who had pinched her buttocks. She gets a job at KaibaCorp afterwards and encounters her friends at KaibaLand. In the Toei anime, Anzu, Honda, and Miho work at Burger World, with Miho and Honda working to support Anzu. Once Burger World closes, Honda and Miho work for a beef bowl restaurant. In the opening scenes of the 1999 film Yugi and his friends discover that she works at "Duel Monsters Center," a Duel Monsters parlor. She already knows Shōgo Aoyama, a regular of the parlor and Yugi's neighbor.  While responding to a fan mail asking him why Yugi and Anzu are not in a romantic relationship, Takahashi stated that the relationship between Anzu and both Yugis is "pretty much a love triangle." He added that Yugi and Anzu "always" act in a "very careful" manner in front of one another, so they cannot admit their feelings for one another. 

Anzu's first Deck is a Fairy Deck. It focuses on Light-Attribute Fairy monsters, and spells to enhance them. Her second Deck is a Spellcaster Deck. Almost all the cards are devoted to the Spellcaster theme, like Fire Sorcerer, Maha Vailo and the Dark Magician Girl because of her one-sided love with both Yugis. She duels once in the manga and three times during the course of the second anime series. A childhood friend of [Shinichi Kudo](https://anilist.co/character/1742); daughter of [Kogoro Mouri](https://anilist.co/character/1746), a private detective, and [Eri Kisaki](https://anilist.co/character/1744), a lawyer. Her parents got separated when she was seven, and one of her biggest goals is to get them back together. Her best friend next to Shinichi is her classmate [Suzuki Sonoko](https://anilist.co/character/1749), who constantly teases her about her relationship with Shinichi.

After Shinichi's disappearance, Ran met [Edogawa Conan](https://anilist.co/character/1742), who was introduced by [Professor Agasa](https://anilist.co/character/4162) as a "distant relative" and asked Ran if she wouldn't mind taking care of him at her house. She and her father practically adopted him; Ran immediately came to think of him as a surrogate little brother. Little did (and still does) Ran know that "Conan" is actually Shinichi.

Ran's greatest personality trait is that she genuinely cares for those she loves. She is also patient, kind, and nurturing. Like Shinichi, she highly values justice to the point of idealism. To avoid making Shinichi choose between her and his important case (really an excuse because Shinichi has turned into Conan and can't return), she has decided to wait for him to finish it, trusting his promise that he will come back despite their separation causing Ran a lot of emotional pain. Ran is also very hot-blooded and tends to act on impulses when the people she cares about are involved; the combination of jumping to conclusions and not hesitating to use karate on those who she perceives to have wronged someone has led to several "near-miss" misunderstandings. Early on, she would become violently suspicious if she thought Shinichi was philandering although more recently his confessions have led her to trust his intentions. Even though Ran is in love with Shinichi, she often fails to convey her feelings because she suddenly becomes self-conscious.

She can be very brave and resourceful when she wants to be and rescues Conan from trouble on occasion. However, she has an irrational fear of the supernatural and is thus - unlike her friend Sonoko - absolutely no fan of anything related to the horror genre. She also constantly tries to reunite her father and mother again - though with little success, thanks to the mutual stubbornness of both parents. Men also tend to pay her a lot of undue romantic attention, a fact that makes Sonoko somewhat jealous (and of which Ran herself is completely unaware).  Ran is very self-sufficient for her age. This is because her father is drunk, slovenly, and fiscally irresponsible. She handles many of the Mouri household's financial affairs and all the cooking and housework. She also ensures Kogorou doesn't slack off on his job, is on his best behavior for client meetings, and often greets and provides refreshments for potential clients.

The main human character of the series: a pink-haired, red-eyed, 16-year-old, high school student obsessed with mysteries and the occult. Despite her love of strange cases, she never manages to find out who Loki is-- partly due to the fact that she has absolutely no sixth sense, despite being the daughter of a Shinto priest.

~!Mayura also seems to have romantic feelings towards Loki near the end of the anime series, mostly by saying that he is a very important person to her. While prone to jealousy, quick to anger, and possessing a calculating tendency, Nuriko is very level-headed and compassionate and shows the most concern regarding Miaka and Tamahome&#039;s relationship. As a &quot;woman&quot;, Nuriko is infatuated with his fellow warrior, Hotohori, but as a man, he also loves Miaka Yūki. While initially jealous of Hotohori&#039;s love for Miaka, Nuriko and Miaka become close friends.

Romeo's fiancee. She seems to be a stand-in for Count Paris (from the original), though she is Romeo's fiancee, siding with the Montagues, instead of a relative to Duke Escalus and Juliet's suitor.

The son of Bora, he accompanies Son Goku for a short time during the Fortuneteller Baba Saga in order to recover all of the Dragon Balls so they can wish his father back to life. Upa is a member of the native tribe who serve as the guardians of Karin Tower. His father is the chief, however, the rest of the tribe is not seen until the end of the manga. He participates in the fight against Uranai Baba's thugs and helps Pu'ar defeat Dracula Man (a kickboxing vampire) with garlic breath. At the end of Dragon Ball Z, now an adult, he is shown giving energy to Goku's Genki Dama. Upa and his father also make a final cameo appearance in Dragon Ball GT on the episode "Piccolo's Decision". It is interesting to note that when Kuririn first meets Upa, he thinks that Upa is a cute girl. He is disgusted when he finds out otherwise and apologizes to Upa.

A girly-looking yet tomboy-ish orphan raised by a nun. She herself is a nun in a city of Istvan, capitol of Hungary. Esther joins Father Abel in Vatican and becomes a member of Ax. Her whole family is killed by vampires, so she hates them dearly. However, after traveling with Father Abel, she finds that the Methuselahs aren&rsquo;t all that bad. She later meets her destiny in the country of Albion.

Lisa Yadōmaru was the former lieutenant of the 8th Division under Captain Shunsui Kyoraku. She is a girl with glasses and long, braided, dark hair, who dresses in a sailor fuku, as opposed to the more Western-style uniforms worn by the students of Karakura High School. In consistency with her current appearance, her Soul Reaper uniform during her time in the Gotei 13 had a shortened hakama resembling a skirt. She seems easily irritated and apparently likes to read erotic manga (specifically, Josei manga). She is also very curious, and would spy on the captain&#039;s meetings during her time in Soul Society. Her zanpakutō is considerably longer than most, making it appear like a nōdachi. She appears to be ambidextrous, initially wielding her zanpakutō with her left hand and then switching to her right during her fight with Ichigo.

A quiet bookworm in Usagi's class called Amy in the English adaptations of the series. She is hugely intelligent, with an IQ of 300, and can transform into Sailor Mercury, acquiring power over water. Ami's shy exterior masks a passion for knowledge and for taking care of the people around her. She hopes to be a doctor one day, like her mother and tends to be the practical one in the group. Secretly, she is also a fan of pop culture and romance novels and becomes embarrassed whenever this is pointed out.   


Satoshi&#039;s younger cousin who is also a well-known teen model. Suzu fell in love with Yuu immediately when she saw his picture, which motivated her to do the cosmetics commercial that she was shooting when she found out that he would be in it. Yuu also became Suzu&#039;s math tutor through Satoshi&#039;s efforts. Suzu tried to express her feelings for Yuu, but he was not interested in her and only saw her as a kid sister. She also tries to tear Yuu and Miki apart after mistakenly believing that Miki is a cheater, but fails. She develops a love/hate relationship with Kei.

Yukishiro Tomoe was the eldest daughter of a samurai, a low-level bureaucrat who served the Tokugawa Shogunate in Edo. Her only sibling was her younger brother Enishi, who viewed her as a surrogate parent because of their mother's death shortly after his birth. As required by the Shogunate, she practiced Buddhism. She kept diaries to record her inner thoughts and emotions, which she found difficult to express more openly.   ~! This reticence left Kiyosato unaware of how much she truly loved him. Thinking that he needed to please her with greater accomplishments, he went to Kyoto to join the Mimawarigumi and was killed by the Ishin Shishi assassin, Hitokiri Battōsai (Himura Kenshin), but also gave the Hitokiri a single slash scar along the face. Tomoe had met Kenshin shortly after the killing, and went undercover for some time, pretending not to know that Kenshin was the man who had killed her fiance. As a result of the suspicion, she and Kenshin left Kyoto and married, hiding in wait while Tomoe planned Kenshin' death. When the time came for Tomoe to reveal her secrets and kill Kenshin, she had already realized that she had fallen for him, and to save his life, she gave away hers, etching the second scar across his cheek so he would never forget her love.!~

Ichigo was just a normal 12-year old junior high student who was on a date with Aoyama Masaya until her DNA is mysteriously merged with the DNA of an Iriomote Wildcat. Now she is the 'leader' of a group of girls, whose DNA were also merged with that of an endangered species, called Tokyo Mew Mew. The Mew Mews have to save the world from Chimera Animas, the aliens, and the alien leader, Deep Blue. Originally, Ichigo wants nothing to do with the "Mew Project", instead wishing to simply spend time with her crush, Masaya. Later, she grudgingly accepts her fate, realizing what she is (a Mew) and the importance of the task assigned to her.  

Ichigo is sweet, and ready for anything. Sometimes she will go crazy if she is mad or excited. She is head-over-heels in love with Masaya. Ichigo cares very much about her friends, and cannot bear to see someone hurt. However, she's also got a very bold nature and is very friendly. She's also very hard working, and very brave (the only thing that scares her is ghosts). She's a very good leader of Tokyo Mew Mew. Her hobbies are buying clothes, and spending time with Masaya Aoyama. Her favourite food is waffles with maple syrup, pizza, fish, dried bonito and strawberries. She dislikes carrots. She is hyper and a happy, cheery person. Her friends Moe and Miwa support her relationship with Masaya. She acts quite preppy in Mew Mew Power. 


She is injected with the DNA of an Iriomote Wildcat. Later she finds herself acting like, instead of a wildcat, an ordinary housecat and, remembering the dream sequence of a cat jumping into her body when she was injected, realizes something has happened to her.

 ~!Later, as the story progresses, her cat DNA begins to overtake her human DNA. When she is excited or nervous, she grows cat ears and a tail. But if she gets very nervous or excited, she turns into a cat. In the anime, when she kisses someone, she turns into a cat. To turn back to normal, she must kiss someone again. Her crush Masaya Aoyama, as well as Ryou Shirogane (as Alto), save her a lot of times, and Pudding Fong on one occasion.!~

Claymore number three of the seventyeight generation, Galatea acts as the organization's eye because of her superb Youki sensing ability. Galatea can sense not only the size of the Youki of her targets, but also their emotions and actions, from a long distance. Her ability can also be used offensively, as she is able to control other Youki users by channeling the energy inside them to serve her own will.    After the seven year timeskip it is revealed she hid in Rabona and cut her own eyes to avoid being noticed as a former warrior for the organization working as a nun for the orphanage. Incidentally this enhanced her yoki sensing abilities beyond what they were before.

Tier Harribel, or Tier Hallibel in the English dub, is a fictional character from Kubo Tite&#039;s Bleach manga and the third Espada of Aizen Sousuke&#039;s army, the Espada. Harribel has dark skin, green eyes, blonde eyelashes, and messy short blonde hair which has three braided locks. She wears an oddly-cut variation of the Arrancar jacket that covers the lower part of her face down while baring a good portion of the lower half of her breasts; this jacket, unlike that of other Arrancar, is provided with a zipper running along its entire length that is opened from the bottom upwards. Harribel rarely speaks, and when she does, she&#039;s fairly serious. Compared to her fellow Espada, who are usually arrogant, boastful, impulsive, battle-hungry, bloodthirsty, and egotistical, Harribel is composed, receptive, analytical, and prefers not to engage in combat; she is content on silently observing both parties until the fighting reaches its conclusion, and actually fights only when she is challenged and attacked by an opponent or commanded to fight by her superiors.

Shuji’s first lover and Tetsu’s wife. She used to train the track team when she was younger and her students called her “Fuyumi-senpai” because of the close age difference. She had an intimate relationship with Shuuji when they were younger, and keeps bringing this up when she seduces him.

An outgoing and daring girl with a forceful personality and the show's main protagonist. She is best friends with Vanilla and the daughter of the late witch Cinnamon.

She is not as popular as Vanilla since her outrageous temper makes most boys scared of her. In the Magical World, she lives with her grandfather, Corne, a powerful wizard who, like Chocolat, has a certain dislike for Blanca and has a bad temper. As the series progresses, she begins to fall in love with Pierre, although it is forbidden for witches to allow their hearts be stolen by humans.
