Known as the "Super-Dimension Cinderella", Ranka is a petite, lively and cheerful teenage girl with green hair. She suffers from post-traumatic stress syndrome as a result from witnessing the destruction of the 117th Long Distance Research Fleet in which her biological family perished.   She is one-quarter Zentradi, which gives her the ability to have her hair move on its own according to her feelings, as well as an above-average resistance to the vacuum of space.   As the adopted younger sister of S.M.S. ace Ozma Lee, she initially attends an all-girl's high school at the urging of her brother while working part-time at the Chinese restaurant "Nyan-Nyan". She later transfers to the Mihoshi Academy to facilitate her singing career after being discovered at the Miss Macross contest and the "Bird Human" movie where she plays the role of Mao Nome.   Ranka starts off as a huge fan of Sheryl Nome as she has loved singing since childhood and had dreamt of becoming a singer. She develops a crush on Alto Saotome, especially after being rescued by him when the Vajra first attacked the Macross Frontier fleet. It is revealed that she has a deep connection to the Vajra as her songs confuse them and she feels severe pain whenever large amounts of Vajra are killed in her vicinity; the exact nature of this ability is explained as the result of her mother's exposure to the "V-Type" infection during pregnancy. As such, Ranka is referred to as the "Little Queen" by Grace O'Connor, suggesting that her relation to the Vajra may be more than it seems.   Ranka shares many characteristics with Lynn Minmay of the original Macross series. Both characters started out working in a Chinese restaurant and both participated in a local beauty pageant (with the exception that Minmay won the Miss Macross pageant while Ranka finished as a runner-up in the Miss Macross Frontier pageant).

Kororo (Corey in the english anime) is the spirit ally of Usui Horokeu, nicknamed Horohoro.   Kororo is a Koropokkoru (which means "little people under butterbur leaves" in Ainu, and is surprisingly cute. (Known as Minutians in the English anime), and Horohoro's spirit ally. She has a crush on Manta Oyamada, even though he is human. Her name in the English anime version sounds similar to "Kōri" (氷), which is the Japanese word for ice and also the element that Horohoro's attacks are based on. A mixed juice Steel Akikan who appears in the anime.  ~!Her can was girlished by a cat (the same cat that is usually found on the roof of Daichi and Melon's house) who ran off right away. This caused her to have a hatred of Akikans, both Aluminum and Steel, with owners, and she began absorbing their powers and calling herself The Strongest Akikan. Her main cool drink sorcery is Rainbow Splash Mixer, and she also has the ability to make clones of the Akikans she had captured called Zeros. Since she was never given a name, Kakeru gives her the name 'Miku', a name she likes but doesn't admit to it. Daichi offered the idea to be her Owner, something she considered until Otoya showed her a picture of her true Owner and ran off to find it. At the end of the series she is friends with the main cast and still chasing her Owner.!~

Shizuku's childhood friend and one of the Three Beauties of Seitetsu, she has many admirers, Natsuru being one of them. She has a large collection of stuffed Zoumotsu Animal dolls and likes to present them to her friends; those who receive the dolls, however, tend to end up becoming Kämpfers. She began to develop a crush on Kämpfer Natsuru after being saved from Kämpfer Akane at the beginning of the series, later coming under the mistaken impression that the normal Natsuru is her rival for Kämpfer Natsuru's affection and consequently becoming somewhat hostile to him, a situation not helped after a misunderstanding in a very compromising situation leads her to think Natsuru is cheating on the female Natsuru.    ~!Later she is revealed to possibly have something to do with the appearances of the White Kämpfers and may be manipulating Natsuru. It is eventually confirmed on separate occasions when White Kämpfers swear loyalty to her and when, without possessing any bracelet so characteristic of Kämpfers, she wields both a Japanese sword and a Beretta 93R against the Red and Blue Kämpfers. Ash and friends first met Lyra when her Marill wandered off and they found it wedged in a wall. She introduced herself as a Trainer from Johto. She came to Sinnoh with her friend, Khoury and his father in order to observe the Pok&eacute;mon native to the region. Later she asks Dawn to participate in the Johto Festival. The two girls had a battle but Lyra lost and rewarded Dawn with an egg. At the end of the episode, Lyra and Khoury join Ash&#039;s group because the former wanted to watch the upcoming Lilypad Contest Dawn would be participating in.     It is implied in Gone With the Windworks! that Lyra has an interest in Ash. She admires his bravery and wishes that Khoury would act more like him. Lyra even asks Dawn if she and Ash are a couple though Dawn quickly denies it. In A Rivalry to Gible On!, she attempted to pair Khoury and Dawn together as a couple before eventually realizing she had feelings for the former.     In Bagged Then Tagged!, she and Khoury had a tag battle against Ash and Dawn in the Lilypad Colosseum. Both Lyra and Khoury eventually lost the battle.     Later they headed back to Johto with Khoury&#039;s father. Lyra plans on challenging Whitney and Morty. Also, upon her request, Khoury decided to become her traveling buddy. They promised Ash and Dawn that they would see them again.

Lyra is a Celestial Sprit summoned by Lucy Heartfillia. First summoned in Episode 12, she is a singer and a harp player whose songs reflect the heart and feelings of those who listen. This implies that her attraction may be a desire towards seeing them attracted to one another. In one episode she becomes so excited that Shrade and Cayenne are going to sit together possibly hinting that she's a Fujoshi and is into BL or Boys Love, she also takes pictures of her teammates in her spare time. She has a business of selling pictures of her classmates to each other, strangely being noted as impossible to have taken shots of, due to being in another location when it happened. Sazanka's ability is the Power of Corrosion (腐食力 Fushoku Ryoku?), that rusts away any metal exposed to it, reflecting her Fujoshi nature, as in english it can be translated as "rotten girl". Meloetta has a femininely anthropomorphic figure with musical bar-style streaks in its hair, quarter notes for its arms and hands and pupil-less eyes resembling whole notes. It has a jewel on its forehead and a black headpiece that seems to be shaped like a treble clef which doubles as an attached microphone such as one often used by singers. Its ovular head seems to be a third of its body's height and about half its height in width. In its Aria Forme, it has light blue eyes and flowing, wavy hair with light-blue ovals that resemble whole notes. In its Pirouette Forme, it has auburn hair that seems to be stylized in a high bun and red eyes. In either Forme, its midriff and eyes match its hair.

Born of a Japanese father and a Filipino mother, Megumi was brought up in a "house filled with music" and grew up with the desire to sing.  In 2003, she participated in the "Self Stardust Promotion" contest and passed, thereby affiliating her to the agency. In 2007, she auditioned to the Victor Entertainment sanctioned "Victor Vocal & Voice Audition" and won the role to voice Ranka Lee in Macross Frontier.
