Born of a Japanese father and a Filipino mother, Megumi was brought up in a "house filled with music" and grew up with the desire to sing.  In 2003, she participated in the "Self Stardust Promotion" contest and passed, thereby affiliating her to the agency. In 2007, she auditioned to the Victor Entertainment sanctioned "Victor Vocal & Voice Audition" and won the role to voice Ranka Lee in Macross Frontier. 

Nakajima is voice provider for the VOCALOID [GUMI](https://anilist.co/staff/140519/GUMI), who debuted in a VOCALOID2 version named Megpoid.

A spring carnival held in the country of dance and song, Harmonia, is beginning. Haruka Haruno and her friends also join the festival to learn dance and song from their senior Pretty Cure warriors. Hime Shirayuki, a princess from the Blue Sky Kingdom, which was taken over by the Phantom Empire, joins the fight as a Pretty Cure named Cure Princess, but always finds herself running away scared.
 
Given a Crystal of Love by the Spirit of Earth, Blue, and told to seek out a partner to fight alongside her, Hime goes to the city of Pikarigaoka and recruits Megumi Aino, a kind-hearted girl always looking to help others, who will to fight by her side as Cure Lovely.
