Master Sōri has a daughter named Tatsu and is a childhood friend of the Asano clan. Rin goes to him hoping he will be another sword against Ittō-ryū. He refuses to offer any help at first but is soon able to provide Rin with thirty ryō. He later assists Manji after he is injured, and informs him about who is behind the Mugai-ryū. Also hires Magatsu to watch over his daughter while he is away painting, and is later revealed that may have greater interest in Magatsu (to which Manji notes after his conversation with Magatsu in volume 12, Autumn Frost). Kaien Shiba was the lieutenant of the 13th Division, under Juushiro Ukitake, up until his death at the hands of a Hollow that also killed his wife, Miyako Shiba.    Kaien, a very ethical man, was adored by many of the 13th Division members. He was outspoken and bore a rough disposition, but his down-to-earth attitude was one of the reasons why everyone looked up to him. Kaien treated his fellow company members indiscriminately, regardless of their social standing or rank. Because of this, he was popular among aristocrats and commoners alike within his Division.    He was the first person in Seireitei to treat Rukia like an ordinary person since her adoption into the Kuchiki family. Until he came along, she was treated with careful respect to her face and talked about and bashed behind her back. She was grateful for the fact that Kaien treated her as an equal, and it has been hinted that Rukia may have come to develop romantic feelings for him because of this. She didn&rsquo;t pursue him because Kaien was already married to the third seat of the 13th Division, Miyako Shiba.    Kaien believed that one&#039;s &quot;heart&quot; was determined based on the prospects of fighting and protecting. He was a firm believer in Captain Ukitake&#039;s policy on fighting, which consists of two types of combat: 1) The fight to protect life, and 2) The fight to protect honor. Kaien took it a step further and believed they both end up being the same thing: &quot;Heart.&quot; He believed that every time one connected with another, a little bit of &quot;heart&quot; is born between them. He thought of &quot;heart&quot; as not something inside you, but rather what is born whenever you think of, or remember, someone else. He believed that one&#039;s &quot;heart&quot; exists in others, and that it remains with his or her comrades even after death. Having held such views, he believed that people should never die alone. Kaien&#039;s favorite food was ohagi, and he liked to take afternoon naps if he could.

Kensei is portrayed as a serious character, often angry at the others for their immaturity. A skilled and respected battlefield commander, he has a rather brutal fighting style quite often blasting his opponents apart. When outside of battle he has a blunt and slightly aggressive attitude, trying to cheer up a tearful Hisagi in a manner reminiscent of an army drill sergeant, though he seems more passive as a Vizard. He is most frequently irritated by his former lieutenant Mashiro Kuna due to her childish airheaded manner, he once noted she had the uncanny ability to aggravate him even when asleep.

The Novena Espada, signified by the "9" tattooed to his two faces. He has an unusual glass capsule filled with red liquid and two floating masks in place of a head, which he usually covers with a tall white mask. The two masks tend to talk in tandem when revealed, giving the effect of two people speaking in turn. The upper mask speaks with a deep voice while the lower mask speaks in a high-pitched, child-like voice, and they appear to have a level of individuality as the lower mask is more afraid of death, screaming blasphemy to Aizen when he dies while the upper mask merely curses one word. He is the last of the first-generation Espada.

Living up to his name, Jobs does the random jobs on the Gekko and also manages the majority of the hardware aboard the Gekko. Primarily, he's Gekko's engineer and often is found around the core systems room when the ship is requires extra attention in powered flights or battles. He's always immaculately dressed in a shirt, vest, and tie. He also has a calm, expert bearing, but he occasionally lets these mannerisms slip when something is mentioned that particularly excites him. Like Gonzy, he was originally a stowaway, but allowed to stay because of his talents. He is fond of "Dr. "Bear," as seen in episode 31, and is a huge fan of Dr. Bear's research and engineering theories. He is modeled after Steve Jobs (hence, "Jobs"), one of the co-founders of Apple. Commander Amarao works for the department of Interstellar Immigration. This agency, among other things, acts as a middle man for negotiations between the government and Medical Mechanica. Thus, Haruko/Raharu is a big problem for them as she is bent on provoking an attack by disrupting communications. Amarao has fake eyebrows made of nori which he believes serve the dual purpose of making him look macho and protecting him from N.O. Amarao seems to have had a past relationship with Haruko similar to Naota's.    In the first episode he appears in (the 4th episode of the series), the viewers get the impression that he is virtually an omniscient character, giving background information as well as making fairly accurate predictions. However, subsequent events would show him as extremely weak and very limited in foresight.    It is a likely inference from the story that as a child he was approached by Haruko/Raharu, just like Naota, and she tried using his N.O. to contact/capture Atomsk. However, his N.O. channel is so weak that he can barely pull something the size of a slingshot through. When the prior happens in episode 5, Haruko says "Small, as usual.", again suggesting a previous relationship between the two, or that she has tried it with other men. One could also argue that a youthful entanglement with Haruko could have led to his career with Interstellar Immigration. There are some traces of him feeling jealous that Haruko has chosen Naota over him.    He has a love of sickeningly sweet candy and drinks, and hates spicy, sour, and pulpy foods - much like Naota. His vehicle of choice is a Fuji Rabbit, a motor scooter which was produced initially in 1946 six months prior to the initial production of the Vespa. Given that throughout the series Amarao is constantly trying to impress Haruko, who rides a Vespa, one could conclude his ownership of a scooter is further manifestation of his attempts to impress her - or at very least a signal to the level at which Haruko influenced him in his youth.

A dhampir who is also member of the Time Police. He tends to pop up here and there all over the place. He considers Genshi a rival on the job and has a massive crush an Sora. Eventually he is joined by the Time Shifter Anmon.  InAnmon's evil master form she is a life force sucking entity, in her good master form an angelic fay that can restore life.

Kyosuke is the head doctor of the village clinic. Despite his young age and the fact that he has a severe maid fetish, he is highly respected in the community. 

He cheerfully makes house calls and seems to truly care about everyone's health. He has (half-jokingly) admitted that he wishes to marry Satoko when she is older, but is not above chasing after Rika when she is wearing one of the uniforms from the restaurant Angel Mort. In addition, he is the manager of the village's baseball little league team, the Hinamizawa Fighters. 

~!In the past, he has performed lobotomies without consent, which led to him being banished from the medical academic society in Tokyo. He is recruited by Takano to direct research the Hinamizawa Syndrome, which he feels will redeem himself. It is later revealed that he works under Miyo in research, where he is trying to find a cure for Hinamizawa Syndrome, while not knowing of his employer's true desires.!~

Heart is one of the Four Chief Vassals of the King organization led by Shin, along with Spade, Diamond, and Club. Heart is a large fat man, Heart's stomach was composed of a rubber-like substance which absorbs the impact of most martial art techniques, earning him the nickname The Destroyer of Fists. While normally calm and more merciful than his fellow Kingsmen, his personality changes to that of a homicidal maniac at the sight of his own blood.

Evil, control freak and coveter of power King Belar was born in Big Cimarion. Despite his vast country Belar grew hungry for more power and began searching for the forbidden boxes said to contain great power. After finding one of the boxes Belar became heady with the power and believed that he could &quot;bring peace&quot; to the world if he became its ruler.  

Sunny Boy is the nickname of a vanship pilot whom Lavie alternatively names as &quot;Nosehair&quot;. He wins the 75th Norkia Cup race when Claus and Hurricane Hawk withdraw after colliding with Ralph Wednesday. Cicada is a servant to Maestro Delphine Eraclea and the elder brother of Lucciola. He is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and prevents Alex Row from assassinating Delphine when the Guild boards the Silvana. Amazed at the advanced technology of Metropolis, Shunsaku Ban often asks the robot questions to try and understand him a bit better. He is the highest in the organization, and tried to control the devil by letting him meet with Christoph Sievernich.  ~!In his youth Peter was actually Franz Bonaparta's apprentice who took part in the experiment on the Liebert twins. Peter thinks that everything is going the right way according to his plan, but Johan tells him clearly later that everything is going the right way according to his own plan. In his paranoia he kills his bodyguard when he goes for his lighter thinking he was trying to kill him, in retribution Čapek is executed by his other bodyguards. He first appeared in chapter 121, but his face isn't shown until the end of chapter 123. He was a childhood friend with Milan Kolacsh. Appears in episode 6, &quot;The Bottom of a Well&quot;. This nightbreed took over the body of Koji Ozaki, a salaryman, soon before Shido started pursuing it. It takes a little girl hostage, whom Shido attempts to protect by throwing himself, along with the girl and the breed, into a well. Neither Shido nor Bait have the strength to escape the well, and Bait tries to persuade Shido to give up his ideals and drink the girl's blood. Despite being injured, Shido is able to rescue the girl from the well, while Bait is destroyed by Yayoi. However, in the end the girl reveals that she is a vampire. A piano teacher, also known as the &quot;Harisen teacher&quot;, because he always carries one during his class which uses to punish his students for their mistakes. He was Chiaki&#039;s teacher at the start of the story, until he was abandoned by him. One day he listened one of Nodame&#039;s performances and decided to become her teacher, even if refused by her. He eventually gives up his harisen in order to convince Nodame to take lessons from him.

After a successful 12-year run as a radio personality in the Midwest and New York City, Dave moved to Los Angeles in 1984 to pursue a career in voice acting that has included commercials, film dubbing, looping, narration and voice characterization in countless cartoons. Dave provided the daily intros and voice of Baboo in "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" (1993) for Saban Productions and in 2007, was nominated for both Best Actor and Best Actor in a Comedy for the 1st Annual American Anime Awards held in New York City.
