It is the year 0088 of the Universal Century in Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. The badly damaged assault cruiser Argama docks at the run-down space colony of Shangri-La for much-needed repairs. While the Argama is in drydock, a young junk dealer named Judau Ashta sneaks aboard in an attempt to steal the Zeta Gundam. He wants to sell it in order to help his sister, but instead he finds himself coerced into joining the Argama’s crew. Unfortunately for Judau, the Argama is being pursued by a dedicated Neo Zeon officer named Mashymre Cello. In order to protect both his sister and himself, Judau must master the Argama’s newest mobile suit, the ZZ Gundam.

During the closing days of the Gryps conflict of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, two siblings &mdash; Asagi and Takuya &mdash; ride aboard a civilian transport bound for Earth. Caught in a battle between the Titans and AEUG, they must somehow guide their ship through atmospheric entry. Luckily, they're not completely alone, as they find aid from a custom-painted Zeta Gundam, whose pilot sounds a lot like One Year War ace Amuro Ray.

He's pushed to his limit as he encounters the infamous Char Aznable once again. He also falls in love with a mysterious woman named Lalah Sune, who knows the full potential of the Newtype abilities. 
The greatest battle is about to begin, as many loved ones fall to the power of war. Can the Earth Federation defeat the Principality of Zeon? Can Char prove that he's a better Newtype than Amuro? All these questions will be answered now...

This story doesn't star Char describes the death of Garma Zabi. It is essentially the same like the episode of the Gundam TV series but seen from the eyes of the pilots of the Zakus.
 
3-5. Char Senyou Zugokku vs. GM (シャア専用ズゴックvs.GM, Z'Gok Char Aznable Personal Use vs. GM); Gundam Ace Special vol.3-4 (2007/12-2008/3), Gundam Ace #71 (2008/5) 
This three part story is once again a retelling of a well known episode from the Gundam TV series, this time seen from the eyes of the pilot of the RGM-79 GM Mobile Suit that is killed by Char in his red Z'Gok during the Jaburo attack.

Frederik Brown is a mobile suit trainee in one of Zeon&rsquo;s schools, but always had a hard time keeping up with everyone. Ten months after training hard, he&rsquo;s thrust into actual combat for the first time together with Zeon&rsquo;s declaration of war. He becomes witness to the horrors and atrocities associated with war first hand as he fights to stay alive.
