Yuu is excitable and perky; however, she is shown to have a dark side. She is also very possessive of Mato, and has an awkward time whenever she is hanging out with Yomi.  Black★Rock Shooter (Anime) Yuu's hair is more combed down, and not as choppy as it was in the anime. She also now wears an orange hairclip on her left side, and wears a school uniform different from her OVA appearance. Similar to her OVA incarnation, she is excitable and perky; she is also eager to tease Mato often. Unlike her OVA incarnation, however, she is perfectly comfortable with the idea of Mato having other friends, and in fact actively teases Mato about her friendship with "her Tiny Bird".  She is fond of skipping classes in favor of drinking coffee at the consultation room. Mato notes that she is trying to be mature for some reason, and indeed she takes concern over Mato's well-being. Mato also says that when she knew her in kindergarten, she was excessively more hyper, and often did "weird things". Shizuku is a junior high student living in the Tokyo Suburb of Tama New Town. At the beginning of the film, it's summer and all the students are awaiting the arrival of the new school year. Shizuku is determined to read at least twenty books before that happens. Her local library does not have one that she wants to read the most, so she goes to school to find it and it's there. While she is checking it out, she notices the name "Amasawa Seiji" on the card. And she remembers that most of the other books had that same name. It turns out that it's a boy in her same grade, whom had mocked her original lyrics to "Country Road' as corny earlier. She calls him a jerk, without even knowing who it is.    ~!Later in the story, they develop a bond which then eventually turns into love. Amasawa even asks Shizuku to consent to marry him when they get older. She says yes. !~

A quiet bookworm in Usagi's class called Amy in the English adaptations of the series. She is hugely intelligent, with an IQ of 300, and can transform into Sailor Mercury, acquiring power over water. Ami's shy exterior masks a passion for knowledge and for taking care of the people around her. She hopes to be a doctor one day, like her mother and tends to be the practical one in the group. Secretly, she is also a fan of pop culture and romance novels and becomes embarrassed whenever this is pointed out.

Violet is described as a very beautiful young woman, being almost doll-like in appearance, with light-blue eyes, a fair complexion, and a slender frame. She is noted for her womanly semblance. She has waist-length golden hair with locks that frame her face. She either has her hair untied, in a low ponytail, or, after becoming a Doll, pulled up into two braided buns with two red ribbons. Due to losing her arms in the war, Violet received maneuverable prosthetic arms made of adamant silver. After the end of the war and on normal occasions, Violet is often seen wearing a white blouse, a green skirt and a pair of heeled brown boots.

She did anything that was asked of her and always followed orders, which was a trait from her life as a soldier. Even after the war ended and she was discharged from the military, Violet had a habit of using words back from her life as a soldier; saluting, disliking being defenseless, and doing tasks without taking any breaks. She also continued to think of herself as a "tool" and believed that it would be appropriate to discard her if she can no longer be used as a weapon.!~ 

Violet is also aloof, expressionless and is said to have the attitude and the presence of a doll. Her expressions are mostly deadpan, so it is hard to tell her mood changes. This is why she sometimes has trouble expressing her own feelings and comes off as expressionless, which makes it difficult to get through her, but she will give a smile from time to time. Through her work as a Doll where she helps people write heartfelt letters, she slowly learns about human emotions, leading her to become more skilled at writing letters and conveying her clients' feelings, as well as becoming understanding of others. She is proven to be a good listener and someone who always thinks about other people's happiness.

In the TV series, she gained emotions when she established a connection with Yuu just as she was about to die following a fight with Black Rock Shooter. When Yuu preferred to live in her world than reality, Strength was forced to switch bodies with Yuu, although she doesn't cast a shadow. She inserted false memories of herself into Mato to make it seem like they've been friends for a long time, though she eventually came to like Mato herself. She has the ability to put herself or others into a comatose state, sending their mind into the body of their darken persona. Prior to times-skip Millianna's appearance seems to have change throughout the years. Her hair is arranged in a messy way. She still retained her cat-like appearance still wearing a choker with a bell attached unto it. Her attire consists of a hooded cape, long striped leggings, evening gloves, tight and small shorts with a belt and boots. She seems to have no upper attire revealing her bikini top uncovered.  Millianna is a very cheerful, peppy person. She has a great love for cats and refuses to see them harmed in any way. She also tries to mimic a cat, from dressing up like one, to meowing. Baby sister of the trio, Ai has a spunky, tomboyish personality and demeanor, and has a genius-level I.Q. and is particularly adept in mechanics, computer programming and engineering. She has built a wide array of gadgets to help her sisters in their heists. A typical teenager, she seems to be preoccupied a lot and dreams of falling in love. Being a high school girl, she also has a pet tabby kitten called "Tiger."

While not as skilled as her sisters, Ai has none-the-less mastered a number of skills and is regularly the one who operates the get-away vehicles for the heists, including helicopters, gyrocopters, trucks, motorcycles, cars and mini-planes. Her greatest weakness lies in the fact she is physically the weakest of the three siblings (evident in the anime when she tried to suplex a wrestler, only to have the maneuver backfire on her), but in exchange, she is also the most agile.
