A robot, once a man, who paid to have his body forged with a mechanized exoskeleton, much like the Nobuseri. He is often looked upon as a clown or a bother; he gets angry easily and often causes trouble. He carries the biggest of the swords, which also acts as a chainsaw when need be. At first rejected by the other six, Kambei accepts Kikuchiyo into the fold when the latter reveals his reasoning for helping the villagers - that he, too, came from a family of farmers. He is a largely sympathetic character, having literally given up his flesh to become a samurai and change his fate as a poor farmer. He is well liked by the villagers, especially by little Komachi, who asks him to become her husband when she grows up, a request that he accepts in return for her keeping his (fake) family tree. An Okinawan-American US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, George is one of the soldiers present when Saya goes insane in Vietnam, killing friends and enemies alike. One of the few survivors, he is asked by the first David to watch over Saya&#039;s sleeping body after she falls into another hibernation cycle. He lost his wife and biological children in an accident years before, but is inspired to live by the sound of Saya&#039;s heart beating in her cocoon. When she wakes up from her sleep and he sees she is no longer a threat, he adopts her as his daughter. Mayuri Kurotsuchi is Captain of the 12th Division in the Gotei 13 and the 2nd president of the Shinigami Research Institute. He gained his position after Kisuke Urahara, the former captain and president, was exiled by the Soul Society. His lieutenant is Nemu Kurotsuchi, his artificially created "daughter."

The father of Bulma, Dr. Briefs is an elderly, brilliant and eccentric scientist. He is one of the smartest men in the world. Dr. Briefs is the founder of Capsule Corporation and the man responsible for the invention of the Hoi-Poi Capsules, which can shrink inanimate objects down to pocket sized capsule of namesake. He is easy-going and friendly. Dr. Briefs rarely leaves his home, even if he knows he'll die (in the Buu Saga, he and his wife refuse to leave their pets even after Capsule Corp. has been specifically targeted for destruction; they know they can always be wished back) and he can often be found tinkering on a number of complicated gadgets while surrounded by his beloved pets. His favorite pet is a small black cat, named "Tama" in the original anime and "Scratch" in the FUNimation dub.

Muten-Rôshi's friend and long-time companion, the good-natured lovable turtle lives in the Kame House with the elderly hermit. During Dragon Ball Z in the anime filler, he celebrates his 1,000th birthday in episode 117. He plays a relatively small part in the manga, but he has quite a few large roles in the anime. When he first appeared, he was in the wilderness, alone and lost. He was picking mushrooms when he got separated from his friends and had since been wandering around on land for over a year. Goku kindly takes on the task of returning him to the ocean, which he is very grateful for. It is Umigame who introduces Muten-Rôshi to Bulma and Son Goku. Umigame does not care much for Muten-Rôshi's perverse interests, enjoying honest interests himself. He was one of the first animal characters Goku meets and befriends, giving a small sense of irony that in the final Dragon Ball GT episode, he's one of the few characters that Goku bids farewell to after departing with Shenlong. In the anime, his power level is 0.001, as evident when Bulma tests Raditz's scouter in the Vegeta Saga.

Emperor Pilaf's ninja crony who apparently is a humanoid dog. He and Mai usually work together to carry out the work of their vertically-challenged and short tempered Emperor. He's one of the first villains in the Dragon Ball series, but perhaps villain is too strong a word for such a weakling. He's almost comic relief. Originally known as Soba in the manga, but was renamed due to match the anime name given after Akira Toriyama forgot he had named him previously. He appears along with Mai and Pilaf in two episodes of Dragonball GT.

This lecherous, bald-headed old man has no reservations in molesting young women, killing the Kouga, or lying to Oboro, the Iga princess. Despite his faults and even his antiquity, this geezer&#039;s not only highly skilled, but deadly with his extra streachy limbs. Rousai uses his elastic-like arms and legs to sling himself in any direction at extremly high speeds, which he uses to chase his enemies to their doom. A rather large bodied man who's a member of "Red-Haired" Shanks' crew, he's always seen eating a piece of meat. 

He seems to be one of Shanks's most trusted crew members, as he is always seen when the Red Hair Pirates are featured, usually when something crucial happens. He shares this trait with Benn Beckman and Yasopp. He is the first person to actually kill someone in One Piece and sets the stage for the series: A pirate's life is a dangerous one.

Karin is a Senbyou who has lived at the top of Karin Tower for more than 800 years. The tower is located right underneath Kami's Lookout, which is a few hundred meters[verification needed] higher than Karin's tower and can be reached by Son Goku's nyoi-bō. Karin is a deity just below the rank of Kami, and plays a large role in Dragon Ball when he trains Goku during the Commander Red Saga to defeat Tao Pai Pai. At later points in the series and in Dragon Ball Z, Karin lends his assistance periodically to Goku and the other characters by growing them Senzu, which only grow in a tree in his tower.  He is voiced in the original Japanese version by Ichirō Nagai and then later by Naoki Tatsuta.

His name in the original Japanese version media is Mister Satan. It was changed to Hercule in FUNimation's English dub and Viz Media English version of the manga. In the U.S. edition of Shonen Jump it is explained that Hercule is the real name of the character while Mr. Satan was his stage name though no such explanation was present in the original. He is voiced by Daisuke Gouri in the original Japanese version, Chris Rager in the FUNimation version and by Don Brown in the English version from the UK and Canada.   ~!Even though he has never directly saved the world he is highly responsible for defeating Kid Buu as he convinced everyone on earth to give power to Goku's Genki Dama, along with his direct role in defeating Majin Buu. A common point of humor after his first appearance in the Cell Saga is his extremely inflated ego, arrogance and craving for the spotlight which the Z Fighters find annoying at best. Interestingly enough, he never lost any World Tournament that he attended in the series, nor has he died, making him one of the few characters not to have done so along with Pan, his granddaughter. He has a daughter named Videl who dates/marries Son Gohan. A reference to this is made in the video games Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai Tenkaichi 3. If the player matches Adult Son Gohan and Mr. Satan the opening dialogue starts with Mr. Satan saying "If you want to go out with my daughter, you'll have to go through me!" Yoroi is a member of Kabuto's team posing as a group of Leaf Ninja. He uses his chakra absorption technique to drain the chakra of an opponent, leaving them too weak to fight. He is defeated by Sasuke during the third test of the chunin exams.

Agile fire and explosive user, Renkotsu is the second in command and one of the more intelligent members of the Shichi'nintai. He respects his leader just as much as any other member of the Shichi'nintai. However, with the corrupt power of the shard of the Shikon Jewel embedded in his neck, he starts to feel hatred and jealousy towards his leader and vows never to die again because of him by any means necessary. To do this, he requires possession of all the Shikon Shards Naraku gave them.    Renkotsu is first of the Shichi'nintai to find out some truth about Naraku and reasons that Naraku is not to be trusted. He finally comes to the point where he believes he is better than the others and eventually becomes a little overconfident. After taking Jakotsu's shard (who was defeated by InuYasha) and killing him, Renkotsu tries to kill Bankotsu, who has found out about Jakotsu after an insect brought him Jakotsu's hairpin. He fails, and Bankotsu takes Renkotsu's jewel shards, killing him, and leaving Bankotsu the last of the Shichi'nintai. In the anime he actually lived just a little longer than in the manga, being told to fight first by Bankotsu before he was killed by him.    He is an expert with explosives and metallurgy who used bombs, cannons, and other artillery; created fire from his mouth by drinking a liquid from a calabash bottle and alternatively from what seems to be a crude form of flamethrower; set wires hooked onto his hands on fire, thus pulling his victims into a net of fire. He was also a gifted strategist, and possessed some skill at hand to hand combat although the only member of the group he surpassed in fighting skills was Mukotsu. He was also skilled at mechanical work, to the point of being able to reconstruct Ginkotsu into a living artillery weapon resembling a modern tank. His only weakness is the fact that he needs to carry around his contraptions which could affect his mobility.

Gaimon is a character that gets his body imprisoned in an empty treasure chest after he loses his grip while scaling a small cliff on the mysterious Island of Rare Animals (Gold Island in the 4Kids dub) trying to find some treasure with his pirate crew. The crew leaves Gaimon stranded on the island. The treasure chest becomes his body and cannot be removed, however, he can still use his hands, head and feet. It takes 20 years for another person to find him.  After Gaimon shrinks when he gets stuck in the chest, he can no longer scale the cliff. He has to protect his treasures somehow, so he would use his gun and his spooky voice to drive away intruders. Monkey D. Luffy and the whole crew passes the trial and they begin to become friends. However, when Luffy finally gets to the top of the cliff, Gaimon realized that the treasure chests were empty too and he had been protecting a nonexistent "treasure" for 20 years. He was offered to join the crew of the Strawhats but he declined. Then, he considers the animals as his treasures, and vows to protect them.  Chibi Buggy eventually meets, and befriends, Gaimon in the chapter cover stories.

Ushio is a security staff who observes residents around the Satellite area. He has a violent character but holds high esteem as a duelist on his muscles.    If you remember, Ushio appears once in the first episode of [Yu Gi Oh series 0]. He is a bad character who acts as a student guard and tries to get money from the students for his protection service. Yugi used to be one of his victims.    He has starred in all Yu-Gi-Oh animes so far expect for Capsule Monsters. In the first series he bullied Yugi in one episode, and the same event was featured as a flashback in Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters. In Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters GX he was mentioned as being one of Trueman&#039;s victims and in Yu-Gi-Oh 5D&#039;s he plays a big supporting role.

The Slicer Brothers are a pair of serial killers who become one of the guardians of Laboratory 5 under the joint alias of Number 48.

They had their souls bound to a single suit of armor by way of a pair of blood runes (one in the helm and one in the armor's neck piece) and were assigned to kill any intruders at the laboratory.

Also known as Claude or Cloud, Kuroud is a bespectacled man with a mustache and two-tone hair color (black to the right, yellow to the left). He wears a gray top hat, multi-colored suit and tie, as well as dark brown boots, giving him an appearance similar to a circus manager. His plushie body is a rabbit-esque purse. He is partnered with Orihime Inoue. He has the ability to shapeshift, and can replicate the abilities of others when he does so (although he can't replicate the power levels of said abilities). He is somewhat cowardly and is terrified of snakes. His longwindedness and actions often provide comic relief. He is also somewhat perverted, like Kon, or at the very least is thankful for the opportunity to be held by attractive women (being a purse helps in this regard). Born in 1966, this character seen only on a &quot;Oh! Super Milk-ChanTV&quot; show.  Dr. Eyepatch runs the King's Idea Laboratory (Ō-sama no Aidea Kenkyūsho?). In each episode, he provides Milk with a new invention or gives information about topics of concern. He created Tetsuko, but always belittles her or offers to have her replaced. The eyepatch over Dr. Eyepatch's right eye changes its design every episode; sometimes it changes several times in the course of a single episode. He also once hosted the NG awards.

Sloth is the fifth Homunculus created by Father. Appearing as a giant, muscular, but mentally slow man, Sloth spends most of the story digging the country spanning underground tunnels that make up the Father's mysterious transmutation circle. A conversation between Greed and Lust implies that Sloth have dug tunnels for at least a hundred years. Not surprisingly, he seems eager to finish his work so he can rest at last.  In the first anime, Sloth was inadvertently created in the failed human transmutation of Ed and Al, and appeared as their mother, quite the opposite of what he is characterized as in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Jiisama appears in episode 17, &quot;Pickers of Empty Cocoons.&quot; He is able to use a particular type of mushi cocoons to deliver letters. Despite years of experience in the field, he was unable to protect his two young apprentices, Ito and Aya, from tragedy at the hands of these mushi.

Teuchi is the owner of the Ichiraku Ramen Bar. His daughter is [Ayame](https://anilist.co/character/17310), and she works at his Ramen bar.

Hannya is a pupil of Aoshi. The village he was born in was poor, so he was abandoned at birth to reduce the number of people to feed. Hannya survived, but he could not return to the village so he wandered around like an animal until Aoshi found him and gave him a position in the Oniwabanshuu. Hannya is the master of disguise within the group, an ability he gained by removing all his prominent facial features, which is why he wears the demonic mask on his face. As Aoshi gave him something to live for in the Oniwabanshuu, he is very loyal to him, he even disfigured his face so that he could easily disguise himself as anyone and gives his life to allow Kenshin enough time to retrieve his sakabatou to defeat Kanryuu and save Aoshi. Hannya's style of combat evolves primarily from his discipline from Aoshi. However, he adds his own bit to it by having painted his arms in horizontal stripes, giving them the appearance of being shorter than they actually are, thus luring opponents into a false sense of security regarding distance of attacks.

Hachidai was a miner in the River Country. He and fellow workers Sangorou and Rokusuke fled Katabami Kinzan when the homicidal practices of Kurosuki's Raiga emerged. On their journey away, a fierce storm knocked them off a mountain and they fell into a river below. The awoke far downstream in the Fire Country, where they were saved by Uzumaki Naruto. Hachidai then returned with his fellow workers when a squad was sent from Konoha to investigate the proceeding at Katabami Kinzan.
