Tamaki Suoh is the half-French half-Japanese founder and president of the Ouran High School Host Club. Tamaki is flamboyant, emotional, and narcissistic; however, he is extremely dedicated to his duties as a host. He is the “prince” host type, who can charm any girl with sweet talk, though he is always truthful in his compliments. To him, all girls are pretty, and the happiness of his guest is his greatest enjoyment.

This native told him that he would have a great journey ahead of him, and that journey was to find paradise. Kiba begins his quest for paradise in the hope that there he will finally find peace. When Suzuka and Souichi were in middle school, Kazuki was their track captain, and was ranked first in the 100 meter. The similarities between him and Yamato are a striking resemblance in terms of looks, character, and running skill. In practices, he and Suzuka would fight because she wanted practices to be serious and he wanted them to be fun. Before the national tournament, he confessed to her and told her not to answer until he had won. Ryou Masaoka is the pilot of the Titan-model Fafner (TSX), an earlier Fafner model which puts the pilot life on the edge even when used for a time span of just fifteen minutes.

At school, he's Kenji predecessor as the school council president. Very prone to getting sick, though he possesses a great strength of heart. A very amiable and caring person, he gives advices and comfort to many of his friends, saying that Kazuki should approach people more if he wants to befriend others, reassuring Shouko when she doubts about being her mother true chid, as well as Yumi in many occasions. He decides to volunteer for piloting, saying that he feels the need to do something before he dies, adding that even though he lives alone the island is so small and full of good friends he never felt lonely.

When he decides to join Plan-L he's surprised to find Yumi aboard the ship, but she doesn't want to have anything to do with him for the time being. Ryou gets happy when he realizes that by piloting the Titan Model he can run for so much time without having to stop for catching breath or feeling chest-ache. But he has to decide whether to leave his dog, Puku, on the island, or poison him, because he can't bring it with him on the island-ship. Fortunately Karin agrees to take care of Puku, and Ryou can leave along with Yumi and the other pilots to lure away the Festum.


~!Even though everything seems to go well at first, Ryou and the others brutally realizes that whenever they get to pilot the Fafner they are modified at genetic-level, and their body are subjects to a process known as crystallization, which prevents the afflicted from moving, speaking, seeing; finally, they would disappear in a sparkling cloud of dust.!~

Yumi decides to ask for a reduced scheduled time to pilot the Fafner models, but to no avail. Ryou decides to support her by saying to the commander in charge that Yumi's father didn't make this plan without thinking about the life of the whole crew, and ultimately resolves to make him accept their proposal. Yumi thanks Ryou for what he said in his speech, and starts getting along with him again.

~!Even with a shortened time more pilots starts losing their live, and when only a handful of them stay alive every hope seems to be lost. In the end only Ryou and Yumi survives until the end of the plan.!~

The discovery of an escape procedure when the plans end boosts again their hope to live, but before coming back to the island they must fulfill their last duty and stop the Festums from reaching Tatsumiya Island.

~!Unfortunately the crystallization process had already began, and when the two of them understands that they can't go back to the island they stay in the depths of the sea, surrounded by marine snow. Eventually Yumi dies a short while after one last talk with Ryou, and Ryou starts a record which is the same narrative speech heard during the whole story. He then makes one last effort to prevent the advance of the Festums, using Fenrir and making a huge shockwave that reach Tatsumiya Island, letting Soushi understand that the Festums can even go underwater. When some days later a Fafner model is found, Puku goes into the pilot cockpit to rest, dying there to the side of his true owner, Ryou.!~

Born to Mayumi and Sayuri Kinniku, the king and queen of Planet Kinniku on April 1, 1960. Suguru was so stupid looking, even as a child, that on several occasions Mayumi would have an urge to strangle him just from looking at him. On one fateful day, The royal family went on vacation to Earth. While there, a pig snuck on board and got in Suguru's cradle. Mayumi mistook Suguru for the pig and threw him out of the ship. Yuuki has been taking care of him as her little brother since he was brought into their home (the Headmaster's). Setsuna F. Seiei is the main protagonist of the story in Gundam 00. He's a Gundam Meister of Celestial Being.

Having grown up as a child soldier, brainwashed to murder his own parents, and later cast away when he was no longer deemed useful, Setsuna became taciturn, introverted, and wholeheartedly against war at a very young age. He believes deeply that there are key disturbances that prevent the world from coming together in peace and harmony, to the point of developing a habit of labelling specific people and/or forces as sources of conflict towards the world's path to peace. Although very handsome he is just as stupid and lecherous as Ataru (just much more sophisticated in his approach). He takes his role as heir to the vast Mendou fortune extremely seriously. Mendou is vain, narcissistic, charming, overly dramatic, claustrophobic and afraid of the dark. He loves Lum, tolerating the presence of Ataru in order to be close to her. One of the truly interesting main characters in the series, Hyoga appears calm, collected, and unemotional. Beneath the surface, however, he is passionate and devoted to his ideals.

The one person that forever lives in Hyoga mind is his deceased mother. She died when Hyoga was still very young, having drowned during the shipwreck of a doomed cruise. The ship sunk into the icy ocean, where the extreme cold kept Hyoga's mother from rigor mortis. Throughout the Sanctuary arc, Hyoga is shown to visit his mother periodically by diving into the waters.


Ryoga was first introduced in the series in the Tennis no Ouji-sama: Futari no Samurai - The First Game movie and was introduced into the manga later in Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama. Ryoga is the adopted son of Nanjiro Echizen, a former professional tennis player. He bears a strong resemblance to Ryoma with his hazel eyes (anime) and black-green hair. While the Echizen family were in America, Ryoga was taken in by Nanjiro and lived with them for a time. His tennis technique is modeled on that of Nanjiro. When he left the Echizen's home, he just wandered around until the evil billionaire Sakurafubuki Hikomaro hired him. In the flashbacks, it showed that he was rather close to Ryoma. At first he said that Ryoma's tennis was awful (which was true when he was about five or so). It was shown that Ryoga's skills were far superior, but as Ryoma continued to improve, Ryoga began spending more time with him.

One of three surviving crew members of Anita, Chaoji was seen reacting with Innocence, which was sent into the ark by Tiedoll when Lenali fell into the arc, and so was able to become an exorcist. Chaoji&#039;s Innocence, as of now still unnamed, is a pair of linked bracelets on his left wrist. The only power it has shown so far is to grant him superhuman strength on that arm, allowing him to pull the Allen, Lavi and Kanda all of out a bottomless pit they nearly fell into in with one pull, sending the three Exorcists flying. Miyano's first acting job was in 1992 in Tokusou Exceedraft, where he appeared in a flashback as a child in a yakuza member's past.

In 2001, he had his voice acting debut in a live action teen drama Caitlin's Way.

In 2002, he voiced Riku in the Japanese version for the video game Kingdom Hearts. Miyano also had his first anime voice acting role the same year, voicing Akira in [Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children: Light & Dark](https://anilist.co/anime/4068/). In 2003, he voiced [Kiba](https://anilist.co/character/241/), the main character in [Wolf's Rain](https://anilist.co/anime/202/). A few years later in 2006, he had what most would call his breakout role in [Death Note](https://anilist.co/anime/1535/) where he voiced the main character [Light Yagami](https://anilist.co/character/80/). For his role as Light, he was nominated for two awards at the first ever Seiyuu Awards in March 2007.

On May 28, 2007, on the King Records label, Miyano debuted as a singer with the single "Kuon." The single debuted at number 47 on the Oricon charts and was used as the ending theme song for anime series [Koutetsu Sangokushi](https://anilist.co/anime/2162/). On June 13, he released a collaboration single titled "Fight," with fellow voice actress [Romi Park](https://anilist.co/staff/95082/). The duo's single debuted on the Oricon chart at number 73.

In 2008, at the second Seiyuu Awards, Miyano won "Best Actor in a Leading Role" for his roles [Setsuna F. Seiei](https://anilist.co/character/4234/) and [Rikuson Hakugen](https://anilist.co/character/2844/), from [Mobile Suit Gundam 00](https://anilist.co/anime/2581/) and [Koutetsu Sangokushi](https://anilist.co/anime/2162/) respectively. Miyano also married later that same year and he and his wife have a son together.
